  1. Oh Now they throw a fucking flag!
  2. No suggs, no problem so far. The run D is holding up and the young guys are ballin' on the line.
  3. 3rd and short no Brandon Williams?
  4. These refs aren't calling shit today. Major missed calls on both sides.
  5. did we just convert a 3rd and longer than 10? Holy shit
  6. Great response by the offense.
  7. Webb is killing us out there.
  8. ballsy to try that kick with the wind.
  9. great play call. great pass, awesome concentration on that catch.
  10. I don't know if I can enjoy this game with Zadarius and his midriff in every shot.
  11. Wow et tu Crav? I thought you'd be the last guy out of Joe's corner.
  12. LOL hey we'll be in it until at least the last two minutes.
  13. Get the lead, run the ball!
  14. YESSSSSSSSS!!!!
  15. He's passed twice and didn't step into either throw. How is this not something the coaching staff emphasizes?
  16. If you ask me Flacco's injury presents a unique opportunity for Harbaugh. To put it succienctly, Flacco needs a fire lit under his ass and giving Mallet the chance to outperform him in this offense might be just the thing to do it. I think Flacco's biggest problem since the SB is complacency. I think he cares about how he plays and wants to win but I question whether he lost the chip on his shoulder when he hoisted the Lombardi. The best players have a nasty competitive streak - a drive to do whatever it takes to be continue to be best even after they taste success. Does Joe? I watched Harbaughs demeanor after the game, during his post game pressor and the pressor on Monday. I think it's clear Harbs is starting to feel the pressure of losing so many close games the past two seasons. He's starting to call people out. Usually he is quick to defend his players but he had no problem calling out the secondary and threatening jobs if they don't improve their play. He did this in multiple times over the past few days. I also found it interesting that he made it a point during one of he pressors to say the oline played well. He actually corrected a reporter that suggested the line played poorly because of the pressure on Flacco. Well if the oline played well and we know west had good numbers on the ground that indirectly singles out Joe as the problem. I don't think Joe did a good job handling the Giants blitz - does Harbs agree? Anyway - the team remained competitive with Mallett atbqb last year so starting him wouldn't be throwing in the towel. in his current state of frustration/desperation will Harbs take this opportunity to try to spark his slumping QB by making him take a seat? The timing will never be better. Flacco hasn't practiced and Harbs can pass it off as trying to give Flacco and extended break with the bye coming up.
  17. Not season ending but we don't know when he'll play again. Tough break - his body is starting to go - ala Kobe in his final playing years.
  18. We're looking at 7 QB's minimum, maybe half the league I'd switch for Flacco today, and the only reason it isn't more is because of Flacco's postseason history. That said Flacco's postseason history is just that - history. At some point we have to see Flacco start to produce again in the here and now. A different, perhaps more relavant question is how many QB's I would take over Flacco if I need to win a game tomorrow - or how many I would take over Flacco for the rest of this season. For me it would be at least 20 of those starters, maybe more. That's almost 3 quarters of the league.
  19. Are you asking which current starting QB's I would take over Flacco? For sure: Rogers Wilson Newton Roethlisberger Rivers Carr Mariotta Maybe/Debateable: Brady (age) Brees (age) Ryan Wentz Prescott Winston Dalton Luck No Keenum Kaepernick Stafford Fitzpatrick Tannehill Browns QB Manning A. Smith Bradford Cutler Semian Osweiller Cousins Bortles Tyrod Taylor
  20. Well I was just going off of memory but when I look it up it looks like he has the most yardage best TD-int ratio and second best Qb rating if his career under kubiack
  21. You don't think he could have been convinced to $$$tay for the right price?
  22. Flacco had arguably his best year with Kubes as his coordinator. I think if you find someone who can get the most out of Flacco you find a way to keep them even if it means giving him the big job. The Bucs did that with Winston's OC and fired Lovie Smith when they thought they would lose the OC.
  23. I think you are splitting hairs. They are basically the same guy, though Eli's put together two winning postseason runs.
  24. I don't think you make a change for either without having a viable replacement, however it's time to start looking for those replacements. It's time to stop with the line of thinking that says "we're set at QB and HC". Right now I really wish Steve had the balls (and I grant it would have been a ballsy move) to keep Kubes and fire Harbs. Even knowing Kubes' health issue it would have been worth it.
  25. Last year the Ravens had a terrible team before Flacco, Forsett, and Smith went down with injuries. Once the season was lost, the team starting putting everyone with any hint of an injury on IR, partly to try out new players. Their public relations department was able to sell the narrative that the only reason the team was so bad was due to the number of players on IR when in truth the exact opposite was true (record players on IR because the team was terrible). I honestly think even the Ravens' brass started to believe it and I was in shock when Biscotti listed injuries as a reason for the team's poor performance at the State of the Ravens presser. The FO made some improvements and this team is marginally better than last year, but still not even close to being in the class of the Steelers, Bengals, Pats, and Broncos. I say that knowing we beat the Steelers twice last year.
