I don't agree with your assessment of the running game. Early on it was terrible, yes but I think it's improved since forsett has been cut. Certainly it hasn't been bad enough to completely abandon it in favor of almost eclusively using a passing attack that has had only spotty success.

Yeah Flacco's bark was bigger than his bite last night. The Ravens need to seriously re-evaluate this offensive philosophy of letting Joe carry the offense. Joe didn't play poorly yesterday but the scheme failed him. Why continue to throw when it was clear NE was dropping so many into coverage?

I hope you're right, but I think we are in for more of the same. The Ravens offensive game plan of letting Flacco throw 70-90% of the time is going to yield inconsistent results like we see today.

Well he's not wrong. Fans have been saying it for a while now. Cypher since the day after the SB lol. It's not about Flacco's personality..at least not for me. I like his calm cool personality. I like that he's boring and not eccentric. I don't think he cares about enough about winning or being the best. It was nice to enjoy a Sunday after a Ravens win. Positives: D looked sharp for most of the game. Once again the ability to pressure disappears down the stretch when we needed it most save that huge sack late. Special teams was solid outside of Hester making some questionable do I catch do I not? Negatives: Flacco looks just as indecisive and his mechanics are still terrible. Throwing across your body while running backwards? C'mon man. We again abandoned the run this time against a team that hasn't been able to stop the run. I think if Ben sits the steelers win that game with jones. He gave them nothing for 3.5 qtrs
