  1. The league still can especially if he settles the suits.. Shoot, look at Trevor Buer, he, not that I agree with that life style, simply has consensual s& m, the girl was just in over head wanting to have sex with a pro ball player. Now he has been out of baseball for almost a year, with his suspension extended another week to 10 days. It is all optics now a days.
  2. Just needs a little liquid luck... Or think he has taken some
  3. Never could find a qb, maybe now they have if he can learn to read a defense
  4. No on aging edge rushers, say that 3 times fast... He is one of those players who dominates when healthy & against bad tackles... No thanks
  5. Gave up 2 1st round picks to get him...
  6. I guess Sherlock couldn't find any "real" evidence. No shocking in he said she said cases, especially when the complaints are "massage workers". Now, what does/can the league do? Will he ever play again? Does Miami, Indi, Pitt, make a trade for him?
  7. It's behind a pay wall for me so I can't read it.. But knowing Mikey, it's his knee jerk reaction theory... Didn't he write one like that shortly after the Rams won it all after going all in? The "odds", statistics, over history show that the team that does this, ie wins the offseason free agent rhelm, usually fails and miserably. Will the Broncos follow the rams or, follow history in this league . Frankly, it mostly depends on how one looks at it. Yes, the Rams won it all, how long is that "good enough" for the fans, the org? The Rams are cap strapped and have no draft picks. Denver will be the same in a year. What does that mean? Time will tell, but to sustain winning, you have to have draft picks-cheap good labor- and be right about them. Denver got Manning via free agency same with the Bucs, so there was no all in ala the Rams and the now Broncos. The Pats, the Ravens, the Steelers, Kc, and even the Bengals who appear to have landed on top draft talent, along with several other teams have shown, draft well, draft often, take care of your cap & you will have a winning team for years...
  8. For a 2nd and 6th round picks to the Bears. Wow what a steal
  9. They would have been better off with Heinike and Fitz, then draft a qb in round 2, restock the already pretty solid defense, wide out core. Instead, they give up a lot of draft capital for an often injured qb whose mistakes in games are game ending/altering huge mistakes
  10. Such a shame about Young, ton of talent just lacked that ability; availability, couldn't stay healthy. So cb, tackle(s), linebacker (s), center(?) maybe a safety all in need this draft. Good thing they have 10 picks in the first 4 rounds....
  11. Adams will get a deal before the season starts, but between he and Rogers, they will eat up a lot of that $208 mil cap...
  12. Wow, that is a shocker, I guess after Rogers signed his new deal the Broncos got really desperate... Wilson is great, not that great though...
  13. I am old enough to have seen many of the greatest quarterbacks play this game. In my opinion, Rogers is the best of the bunch. Sure, some have more superbowl rings, but then many of them had better teams, better players around them. Many of them played at a time when there was no salary cap, when teams stayed together. A well deserved, from a players standpoint, raise. Aaron Rodgers will be back with the Green Bay Packers in 2022 -- and beyond. The reigning NFL MVP agreed to a four-year, $200 million extension with the Packers that will make him the highest-paid player in NFL history with a $50 million average annual salary, CBS Sports NFL Insiders Jason La Canfora and Jonathan Jones confirmed. Rodgers will receive $153 million guaranteed as part of the extension, NFL Network reported, creating significant amounts of salary cap space available for the Packers (approximately $21 million) CBS Sports: Aaron Rodgers, Packers agree to four-year deal as QB becomes highest-paid player in NFL history. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/aaron-rodgers-packers-agree-to-four-year-deal-as-qb-becomes-highest-paid-player-in-nfl-history/
  14. Bet $1500, lost $11 mil......
  15. Such a shame, great talent, but just could not get his head around the league.. Done through the 2022 season, who knows beyond that at this point. AtlantaFalcons.com: Calvin Ridley suspended for violating NFL gambling policy. https://www.atlantafalcons.com/news/calvin-ridley-suspended-for-violating-nfl-gambling-policy
  16. Neither have it but have kept tabs on some players. He is gonna be a beast, but only a 2 down player..
  17. Did you see what Jordan Davis ran? A 4.79 at 341 pounds!
  18. Fastest recorded wide receiver class in NFL history. The curmudgeon in me says the stop watches were fixed. Some of those times were sick, just sick. Not all of those guys have great hands, even the ones that do, some will just not be able to acclimate to the NFL game for one reason or another. Should be interesting to see who shakes out. The Ravens need more speed, on both sides of the ball, the speed at wide out is rarely seen. They tend to struggle off of the line, or only have straight line speed. While you can't teach speed, speed alone is not good enough, quickness is the most important. Will the Ravens reach for one of the speed demons in the 2nd?
  19. Yep, just one at the wil spot, if he can't improve, good bye..
  20. This may be the most important off season in Ravens history; not an overstatement for sure. Whether the draft or free agency, Ravens players included, this could be a mark against or for Eric; make or break his career. Hold on folks, it's going to be a bumpy ride... I see donut man has come around to my posts about the middle linebacker position... Hi Mikey
  21. Don't know much about him, maybe he learned what not to do while with the Titans, a team with a worse history of season ending injuries than the Ravens...
  22. It's not just the system, he gets pumped off his routes easily, struggles against press man at the line and does not track the ball well...
  23. A salami sandwich and curly fries
  24. Meh, no big deal, every child has a way to try and get their parents' attention...
  25. Apple is the most over rated db in the game. The refs clearly were told to just let them play. Shoot, all of the head slaps on the sideline, even the ref getting hit, when Darnold nailed Burrow out of bouds, should have warranted a penalty, even if they were off setting.. Just more proof the refs were told to keep their flags locked down.
