  1. My thoughts exactly. And it sounds to me like the front office was bent on drafting Bama players... http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/inside-an-nfl-draft-war-room-ravens-never-expected-to-land-humphrey-at-no-16/
  2. I am looking forward to seeing how Tim White does, a true return man as I said in the links forum. Will Bam Bradley or Donald Payne be the next Bart Scott?
  3. Tim White is the most intriguing player if he does sign with the team. Quick feet, solid return man, in college... Big mitts help him gobble up passes... Though he is raw. With no real returner on the team, he has a good chance. But then we thought Derick Abney would work out too and some how he forgot how to field punts... Or was it just politics that cost him the job...
  4. Or the choice... Hey, I hope I am wrong and these guys turn out to have great careers here, but many we were all saying the same things six years ago, five, four, 3, 2 and last year. The team picked 16th this year, missed the playoffs the past 2 years, has a piss poor inconsistant offense & defense because the great Ozzie Newsome never whiffs on a pick, & Bama players work out so well for this team...
  5. When the best thing your head coach can say about a mid- first round pick is that he will be a great special teams player, it is time to hit the sauce, not ring the bell.... Time of course will tell, but....
  6. Another defensive player... One who might make the practice squad! Whoop-whoop!
  7. For the worst draft in their history...
  8. Post his weaknesses too max... He is going to be lucky to make this team.
  9. Oh boy, another guard... With only 12 starts... Arms to short to be a tackle in the NFL.....
  10. Tackle was their biggest need on offense, their biggest need in this draft. Yet they go 3 defensive players in their first four picks, a lazy one, a project one and a first rounder who will play special teams....
  11. With this draft, it is clearly; "time to go" for Ozzie and who ever helps make up their draft value board...
  12. You can't make a cake with rocks.
  13. So they draft 3 defensive players, one is a tweener and two Bama boys. Williams is a one trick pony, he doesn't have the football smarts to do anything more than rush up field... Hey hey Ozzie has to go...
  14. For some it can, but we saw first hand that coaching can't fix everthing; see all the latest busts in the secondary whose main issues were the same as this kid's. Deron burnt toast Jenkins thrown in for breakfast...
  15. Of course show the tape again espn, i mean he already faced his punishment, so let us retry him over and over...
  16. Not much help left .... And with their record of 2nd round busts....
  17. That was a quick pick.... Bowser, shah-na-na
  18. Great pick by Phili, if the kid can stay healthy he is a perennial pro bowler..
  19. GreenBay got a steal, nice. I thought they might go Mixon there, he would be perfect in that offense.
  20. Wow espn is hemorrhaging money so we get a commercial break after every pick. I auppose it could be worse, we could have to listen to Louis keep talking....
  21. Another? They haven't chosen one yet....
  22. Max, I saw every game as well, and watch a ton of college ball. He gets beat because he looks too long and too often, into the back field because he has no feel for when a pass should be thrown on any given route. In college his speed was able to help him make up the seperation difference. In the pros, he is going to be toast... Another Bama player for the defense that Ozzie will have missed on....
  23. Bad feet, lazy player who leaned too much on his size to over power smaller players. He is a turn style even on the right side... I think they go defense again, the end from FSU.
  24. If they take Robinson in the 2nd or even the 3rd, I will be done with this team until Ozzie goes.
  25. Yeah, not sure what the Bears are thinking there, he is 3 years at best away from being a productive qb. Love what the Browns have done so far, very bold and clearly stats oriented. Overall, both Espn and NFL network set a record for miserable draft coverage. This set up is stupid, it takes the comish almost 5 minutes to get to the podium from where the set up is and the players have a long "dangerous" walk as well. Jordan Lewis from Michigan I think is still out there, he is a better cover man than the Bama bust. Maybe they land him in the 2nd... Still, they don't have linebackers, starters, no offensive tackle, no center, no wide outs/slot/returner. While they needed help at corner, not near as badly as the other positions. I don't want to hear they stuck with their board as all the receivers slated to go middle round one went ahead of where they should have gone. So much reaching by teams so far.
