  1. Another Bama bust.... Doesn't play to hos track speed and relies too much on it. Struggles finding the ball and covering quick receivers. If they were going to risk a pick on a Bama player, wait till the 2nd round when they usually miss any way... Oy.
  2. Kiper
  3. 2 year deal, more so a one year deal the the second year and option.
  4. Peppers tested positive, deluded sample, at combime.... Enters phase one of the NFL drug program.... Idiot....
  5. The Ravens requested there be no bye week after the London game... I can see 10 wins this year, or 10 loses....
  6. Wow, that is sad. My prayers are with him and his family.
  7. Not if Ross is there. The pass rushers in this draft class are not worth a high first round pick. Even Garret, the golden boy has issues with injuries and motive...
  8. Past away today, good football man is all I can say since I did not know him, great for the sport.
  9. Good move bringing him back at a lower price. I thought he showed marked improvement as a safety as the season went on. His skills as a cover corner help as well, that was never an issue, injuries were, good, solid depth in the secondary now.
  10. They are just looking at boosting ratings. Every cowgirl will tune in to watch Romo stumble through a broadcast like fielding an snap for a field goal....
  11. If that was the best trade deal, yay! If they could have gotten rid of him for a 4th without trading picks, then it is a bad deal... With that said, it only matters if who they draft with now a higher pick in the 3rd, turns out to be a solid player... If he turns out to be another Jernigan type player or worse... Oy.
  12. He has been released, or at least the paper work was filed. He was apparently waiting for CBS to decide to make him the #1 color commentator, replacing Phil Simms, he wants to call a super bowl. Big mistake by CBS, Sims was great...
  13. I doubt it, they were, reportedly, fed up with Osweiler and wanted to get rid of him regardless, as long as they did not have to eat the contract...
  14. He is leaving football and going into broadcasting....
  15. They would likely have to take the safety off the board, put the time back on the clock, then add the penalty yards and replay the down. I am sure we will get a real explanation soon.
  16. It would be an unsportsmanlike penalty, I am guessing time would be put back on the clock and if needed an untimed down.
  17. Nor a lego set, seems thd contractors cannot figure out how to put the roof together. Oh, engineers can draw it up and "make it fit & work", but that does not make it so... http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/look-the-falcons-absurd-retractable-roof-might-delay-opening-of-their-new-stadium/
  18. Jernigan is the same player he was in college; dominant when he wants to be. If he is unhappy about the toy in his happy meal, he takes games off. I said it when they drafted him and stick to it now. So if they can unload him for a 4th or 5th round pick they would be foolish to turn it down.
  19. It happened a few other times as well. One on a hail mary play, all the receivers were held and the Saints were forced to go for a field goal instead of a touchdown to end the half against the Niners.
  20. Some like it hot, some not No more leaping, 2 unsportsmanlike penalties of a certain type play , ejection. Touchback spots the ball at the 25, for one season. One that Harbs pulled to win a game, no more multiple fouls on a play to kill time. Defensless receiver is in place, one I don't understand, makes actions to conserve time during the last 2 mins of either half, illegal.... So no more spiking the ball? http://m.startribune.com/nfl-passes-eight-new-rules-and-proposes-a-bunch-more/417355333/
  21. No surprise there. They plan to move some in the next 3 years. In the mean time, they are raising ticket prices, season tickets by a large margine. And the lemmings will pay....
  22. Another "rule" being voted on is for coaches to be allowed to challenge, via replay, every penalty called... Yes, that will speed up the pace of play.
  23. A little over a month out, time to put your cards down now that the Ravens have made their free agent moves. So who do you think they take with the 16th pick? Me, while I hope they take Ross, wr, if he is there at 16, I think with the moves they have made, or not made, that they trade down into the 20's, try and get another pick or two, sometimes "7 just isn't enough". In the 20's they get better value on an offensive linemen middle or outside backer, even a corner.
  24. Not at all. Ross had an acl and a meniscus, yet returned to play in each of the following seasons, playing in every game and, playing exceptionally well. Camp miased games in every season with nagging, gnit-picking injuries. He showed a history of missing games each season, to most scouts, indication a lack of toughness, thus his fall all but out of the draft. Ross has shown none of that, proof in his toughness, if you will, in that he played the receiver and punt return positions with a torn labrum and never missed a beat. Knees, once repaired, once shown to be healthy, as in Ross's case, are rarely a problem moving forward, unlike hamstrings, or high anckle sprains or turf toe, which always have reoccurring issues. Yes, I would take Ross at 16, for all the reasons I have stated in this thread plus a few more...
  25. Seventh round
