  1. He is raw, not sure how well he will translate into the NFL, I would wait till the 3rd round for him. Good, solid player though. I know my soon to be son in law would be happy, huge VA fan.
  2. No, he has so many issues, let him be a star or dud for another team. I think they go running back if the kid from Indiana is still there, if not, I think they trade back, most of hat they "need" and BPA are gone at this point value wise. Unless they feel Wolford won't last too far into the 3rd.
  3. I know Dan, I am repeating my self, sorry.... But my goodness, they are three picks behind, even took away the pick clock so as to "fool" people,,,, unreal.... This will be the last draft I watch, not that they care......
  4. Players fall for any number of reasons, using the why didn't so & so draft him, is a mantra (and I know you know this) that doesn't fly. Teams make mistakes all the time. Time will tell on Strong. Now, where will Gregory go?
  5. It is difficult for me to complain since they 1) drafted a position of need and I started a thread on it months ago. and 2) as they said in the presser, what else were they to do if they got no decent trade offers? Perriman does have some great attributes, far better than Smith even the Smith of today. Perriman locates the deep ball very well, gets his hands up late, which makes it more difficult for the defender to defend the ball. You can't coach speed and he has that, even over Smith, he also has pretty good quickness, something Smith lacks. He is stronger than Smth, gets off the jam better, so based on need and best player (Brown is good, but they can find his talent level later in the draft), they nailed it especially compared to Smith.
  6. Just can't teach catching. I will say, Perryman has far more potential than any of the previous Ravens draft prospects at the position. Strong is still there, I doubt tey go with him now, but he would have been my choice. Dude was making sickcatches with a broken bone in his wrist.... Today should be interesting to see who falls to them or if they trade up. I am thinking they come away with a running back at least tonight.
  7. Sloppy routes, can't catch, hmm, sounds like another wide out the Ravens drafted in the first round.. what was his name crav?
  8. According to Shefty a few minutes ago. They, reportedly, are willing to give he Iggles the 12th pick for Bradford, then the Iggles would use their pick and the 12th as a package to move up to 2 for Marriota..... So keep an eye out, if the Browns make this move, expect Chip to move to 2....
  9. Sadly, I think you are correct and I agree, Peters I believe will be the pick.
  10. Keep in mind, he failed numerous drug tests while in college too, this wasn't the first time.
  11. two of the game have been post-poned until may 28th, double header. tomorrow's game is being layed at 1pm (?) and with no fans allowed. the tampa series has been moved to tampa.
  12. I am sure they are getting too much of it else where. On a side, and lighter note, it was nice to see the media television, can go for hours without comercial breaks. Now, just do that during football games and we all will be happy....
  13. No, I've never been a fan of the Mizzu players who appear to be great pass rushers. Add to that his foot, which can be a chronic issue and the fact this team just doesn't need to spend that type of draft pick at 26. Some are saying Ray may now fall to the 2nd, possibly the 3rd, but I highly doubt it.
  14. In case you or you know anyone who goes or wanted to go to this "party" thursday....
  15. Another one bites the dust........ Shane Ray http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/early-lead/wp/2015/04/27/nfl-draft-prospect-shane-ray-reportedly-busted-for-marijuana/
  16. as expected, wouldnt want him to take any responsibility for what he did to her...... oh wait, he paid her off.....
  17. With out pay for conduct detrimental to the league..... http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000487503/article/greg-hardy-suspended-10-games-without-pay At least the Cowboys wiil get a few games out of him and based on the way they structured his contract, will pay next to nothing for an angry, hungry man....
  18. Are you being funny? They lumped the Denver game, not west coast, with the Raiders, west coast. Then lumped the Niners, west coast, with the Cards, not west coast. Preferably it would be Denver then Arizona, Raiders then Niners. That would allow the team to stay on the west coast and mid west for each of those two game raod trips. This is a burtal schedule, travel wise.
  19. He has 20 career penalties, accepted, since coming into the league in 37 games played.. Leading the way of the ones TC pointed out, Byron Maxwell had 19 in 47 games played, Culiver has 16 in 46 games played, they were all drafted the same year. Revis, has 20 as well, but he was drafted in 2007, for a reference, in 111 games.
  20. Wow, just wow, quite a lot for a player who is injury & penalty prone..... I guess this takes corner out of the first round.
  21. No, he is a head case with no true position, Butler/Brown/Aiken are just as good if not better than he is and they are hard workers; him, not so much.
  22. Eh, it wasn't the Grbec signing that cost them, it was the babies on the team and who ever thought the right tackle position was a revovling door position. If they had beat Pit, they go all the way. If Jason Brown stays with his block a second longer, Grbec hits Q for a long touchdown instead of it getting picked off because Elvis was hit as he threw to a wide open Q. That play changed the entire game.
  23. I really like this kid, he never really got a shot with the other teams and showed he can play last year. I look forward to see if he can now grow into the position, though will they keep he, Butler & Brown this year?
  24. Oh gosh I certainly hope not. While Lewis was good it was only for a short time and he never really got out of the stutter step. Gordon is much the same way, in the stutter department only. He is not a power back, don't let his size fool you. He got stuffed up the middle more often than a turkey at ThanksGiving. He doesn't catch well out of the back field, has trouble hanging onto the ball being stripped often enough to say he is a fumbler & is a terrible blocker. If any back has bust written on him, it is Gordon
