We've all heard of teachers throwing chairs or desks - I have seen it myself (as a teacher) - and you think teachers can be trusted to keep their own tempers in check, in the worst of moments? Or that teachers can be so on top of it that they could stop a student who was out of control from going for a gun? Or that we can trust everyone's judgement enough that - when a student gets physical in some manner - the teacher can decide what is a moment for a weapon and not? I'm a teacher. This is just stupid. Sure, we might stop the occasional mass shooting, but you can be damn sure we'd see incredible increases in shootings that kill one or two. Go away. And fire the teacher in the article above.

You've never heard of them? He's been a mainstay on ESPN for years, probably a decade now. The blog/site are huge. They don't just judge, but also give some insight about making, changes, exceptions, etc. (Like how the yanks are the only team who get to have the mlb logo in all blue instead of red and blue.) They also track small changes. Just interesting to read sometimes.

To answer my own question in part, if you are reading his "I made a mistake" as, "I thought it was OK," ... I disagree with that interpretation. I think he is simply saying, "I made a mistake," as in, please forgive my bad behavior.

I don't think Steve would sell out the city. He might sell team, obviously. But he's a local guy through and through. Now, he's also a smart business man and if the team was ever not worth its cost, he'd sell too. But he wouldn't sell, in my view, to harm the city or just because "something better" comes along.
