  1. We got us a race in the AL east - what 1 game separating 4 teams ? Should be an exciting race as we hit the dog days.
  2. Doing the Texas 2 step the last two nights. Time for SP get out of its funk and get back on track.
  3. Back to walking dead tonight - hopefully just a night. Hopefully, all other AL East leaders lose tonight and we get back on track tomorrow night
  4. Spen, i understand the last time the Os did this was 1974 ironically against the tribe. Great sweep ! What is truly amazing is that the O's are third in the major leagues in scoring.
  5. Wow. Nice W and series win today. That was the offensive explosion I was looking for from Both teams. Nice that we were winning end !
  6. We awoke from the dead; in the 9th no less and in a game started by Buerle. Surprised the heck out of me. Nice win !!!!
  7. I like this kid. The more (Wrs) the merrier
  8. Every guy that's pitching BP up innToronto, including Gausman, will get rocked this weekend. The bigger question is whether we will outscore the Jays.
  9. Well, we didn't get the Philly sweep today - we could've used one of those TDs (from the 19 pt barrage the other night). Still, 3 out a 4 ain't bad. The bad news is, other than Tilly, we are offering up some SP softies this weekend. Mucho runs in Toronto this weekend !!!! I'll be dang happy with a single W this weekend.
  10. regardless of what happens today we better enjoy our last game in Philly because a Buzzsaw awaits us in Toronto this weekend. Could be mucho touchdowns scored by both teams this weekend.
  11. The dude is a little long at the tooth. Better enjoy him while you can; I don't see him playing after this season.
  12. Nice offensive production last night eh ? Nothing like scoring three touchdowns. Holy smokes !! Too bad we couldn't save some of those for the next couple of games. Of course, The offense always seems to take a day off after an offensive outburst , leaving us wondering how we put up such a huge score the night before. Who knows , maybe we can buck the trend today ?
  13. Yep, but the Jays and Rays are JAMMIN. The O's need to keep on keepin on
  14. Well, the starting pitching just wasn't (w) right today. Oh well, as the old Meatloaf song goes, Two Outa Three Ain't Bad. Plus, you had to figure we'd shot our wad last night. Next up Phils. Time to get back on track !
  15. Well, since I started this thread on June 4th, the walking dead have risen and the O's are playing inspiring ball- and yes DC, Crav, and others- I post in good times and bad. It's still early and we've just cleared .500. Let's see where this team goes now. A W today in the series finale would be huge !
  16. Reimold as leadoff guy ? Interesting & that potentially could be huge. Reimiold, Machado, Jones, Weiters, ........... That could just be what the doctor ordered.
  17. Health and good fortune can go a long, long way. Meanwhile, the secondary and receiving corps look strong on paper but are unproven on the field and the team's weakest links. If both these units produce, well then...... as Brian Billick once said; there could be something special going on here.
  18. 7 runs - whoa ! The offense - it is alive !!!
  19. Max, with the 19-0 are you filling in for Crav ?
  20. Yep; letting Markakis go was a mistake from a leadership and continuity standpoint. The cheapos could have ponied up $ after passing on Miller and Cruz. instead, we picked up nada in return. I don't care if Markakis was on the decline. Ray Lewis and Reed were shelves of themselves when we won the SB. Ownership was smart enough to see their intrinsic value to the team. That's one of the many differences between Ravens and O's mgmt .
  21. Have a hard time believing he can make it through the pre- season and remains healthy enough to be a viable part of the Offense by week 1. Yet, the dude is a baller when healthy. To the extent he doesn't stunt the growth of Williams and the other young TEs, Pitta deserves a shot like everyone else. Let's see where this goes.
  22. Good point on the AL East; in fact, the whole AL is pretty watered down. Team needs an infusion of hitting. Maybe Weits provides some short term punch. I'd like to see Paredes bat 2nd and move Weiters to 5th or 6th, followed by Davis.
  23. We haven't replaced the Cruz and Markakis bats, Hardy can't stay in the lineup, and Davis is well Davis. It all adds up to a dysfunctional, punch less lineup. Not bringing in a single legit bat in the offseason not only hurt but was a huge slap in the face to Buck and the fans.
  24. Is it me or are we watching the season premier ? This team is flat out listless and uninspiring to watch. I Keep looking for Rick or Daryl to show up in the games.
  25. Matt Schaub ? No problem http://esportes.r7.com/blogs/cosme-rimoli/files/2012/01/divulgacao44.jpg
