  1. Well then.
  2. Definitely a 4th down, it has to be. I don't really get going for it, though.
  3. Joke?
  4. This is a rusty looking start to the game on offense.
  5. Oh god, this telecast is already so bad. Hahahahahaha.
  6. Wow Matt Millen.
  7. 7:25 kickoff.
  8. Webb and Kruger inactive, Cousins is active.
  9. I can give Mark a pass on the mistakes for now. He was on a different team and didn't know the playbook just two weeks ago; he probably still doesn't know it now. That makes his stat line all the more impressive. I just have a feeling he's going to be pretty good for the Rams.
  10. We play on the road often every September because there's a baseball stadium across the street.
  11. Haha what? Oh, god. Yanda will do fine, but I was hoping Cousins would at least be healthy, if not playing...
  12. But you gotta hold onto the ball. That's been the rule forever. Think about the consequences if it wasn't the case; to say the very least, the line would be blurred. You have to hold onto the ball.
  13. I don't think we'll need to worry about regretting it.
  14. Rant: I'm already sick of everyone complaining about the Calvin Johnson non-catch. Why does the rule need to be changed? Why is it so hard to realize that not holding onto the ball throughout the end of the catch is necessary? Imagine how much more difficult, slow, and painstaking catches and reviews of catches will be if only initial possession matters, and not possession throughout the entire catch. Everyone wants more points and more scores and more heroics. But you have to think about the consequences of all these rule changes folks clamor for before actually clamoring for them.
  15. Hahahahahahahaha! I hate the Skins, but the Cowboys deserve every ounce of that ending. Love it!
  16. He's a psycho because he's a retard, not because he's a crazy good player. Watch him when Haslett does put him in...he's not doing much of anything. He's a backup because he's not very good at doing what they want him to do.
  17. Doubly agreed, Max.
  18. McNabb's playing, so you never know!
  19. I agree with that. And I know he dropped a few. It was just nice to see him do pretty well.
  20. 10 catches, 119 yards. He had 34 catches for 480 yards all of last season...

    Right On

F*** unions. I'll make sure anyone I know going to the games this year boos it.

  23. Kind of bittersweet. Like I just said in the Housh thread, I think he would've been a great slot player and deep threat. He's a good guy and there was definitely no lack of effort, but he couldn't take advantage of Mason's presence on the other side here. I hope he becomes Bradford's favorite target. (If you haven't noticed, this whole set of moves has me feeling weird and uneasy. Nothing to do with what's on the field, either.)
  24. $15? Anyway, I feel weird about this. Not bad weird, just kind of strange. Boldin, for example, we kind of expected. This just feels like it's from left field, and even though I'm excited and I think he'll do well, it just doesn't feel comfortable yet. Maybe it will after he schools Kyle Wilson on Monday, but I'm just not there yet. I mean, it was only two years ago that we (I, anyway) absolutely hated his guts. Imagine Hines Ward looking for a last contract with another team, not performing well in their offense, then coming here. He's the closest comparison I can think of. It's just weird. Emotions aside, Flacco should complete about 90% of his passes, now... And I was really looking forward to seeing Clayton have his best pro year in the slot.
  25. Weird... http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/09/04/ravens-trade-antwan-barnes-to-eagles/
