Couple that with the team giving up just about a whole run more in games he does not start at catcher (despite Starters ERA being slightly lower in games he does not start) and factor in that they have a much better winning % when he does catch compared to when he does not and it shows that Rutschmann has an ability to manage the whole staff well (including bullpen arms which is super important in minor leagues with every pitcher on extreme pitch counts) and the strikeout rates show he can get pitchers calls they need on close pitches with his pitch framing to bring in the strikeouts.

The issue with Bateman is getting on the same page as Lamar. That is pretty much washed down the drain as Aug ends. The way practice in season works there is no time. The coaching staff is so ignorant sometimes.
