True to that. If a player is injured to a part of their body that they refuse to wear padding for then the team should take some of their cash back. They will start wearing the pads then.
No I do look at what will be difficiencies into the future. Fix them early and they will be assets then. That is why for 3 yrs I wanted them to draft a center.
http://content.usatoday.com/communities/thehuddle/post/2012/06/is-haloti-ngata-best-baltimore-raven-nfl-players-think-so/1#.T-MBoo4RYlI Why is this a question?
Searcy was a walking injury by that point in his career. He was in and out coming from Mia at the time. McNair was the wrong guy that yr. I was all in on Brees who was not offered anything from Ozzie. He only got offers from Mia who pulled it and NO. His contract was cheap for the kind of player he was. How good would the offense have been had Brees been the QB over the last 5-6 yrs? Grbac on paper was great. But he was a garbage time stat guy. In that we don't really see their games so we can be led to believe he was great. The FO gets to watch all the tapes so they do not have that argument.
In the CBA hitting is against the rules. So if Bryant were hurt in hitting in OTA's then the players would rat him out to the NFLPA and Harbs would lose OTA dates again like a couple of yrs ago. So RR and Leach were not always on the same page last yr. OL has more moving parts and need more time to be ready.
All of your hits from the past are in Shack's tenure. I wouldn't put Stallworth on that list of busts. One I believe he was cheap and two Cam didn't want to use him. I also have made a delineation between cheap FA's and high priced. Leonard was dirt cheap and out played his deal. Also dirt cheap guys are also there many times as depth and bodies.

Can I have some of what he is smoking.
So Fox, Grbac, searcy, Kevin Johnson, Willis and his $40 mil deal, McNair and his $32 mil deal, deion, Trading for Fabian Washington's deal, and I could find more if I took the time.
No you don't get it. If they don't sign him long term before then he has to play the whole season under the franchise tags price. If that happens his cap number can't be lowered for space.
Really. I thik under the Shack Harris era was great. He picked up really solid guys who were effective for the Ravens. Most high priced FA's the ravens get now are not that good. I have made the list many times.
So they will get a deal done with Rice before July 17. So is this a guarantee? I guess there will be no injuries during the season so nobody will need to be signed during it.
