  1. Maybe that's why nobody hired him as a HC this past off-season.
  2. I know I'd like to! Going out on the limb: Ravens 24 Chiefs 20.
  3. I think he has what it takes but anything can happen...remember Lee Evans? For some reason, though, I'm feeling a bit more confident as the week goes on.
  4. Glad you'll be home in time to catch this from your real psl seat. Nail biter. Not sure of anything in this game except it has the potential to become unforgettable. Reminds me of how I felt with the NE matchups several years ago. Stomach has butterflies!
  5. As I thought might happen, the Ravens offense came out of the gate slowly, picked up some speed after the defense gave them a TO then went on to win. The good stuff was the continued maturity of Lamar, Miles Boykin and the other receivers playing really well (when was the last time you saw anybody in this group have a drop?), JK and Edwards. Now the not so good: Ingraham may have lost something due to age...other than the trick play for a TD he had trouble running; he looked slow too...the offensive line had both protection issues and problems opening up the running lanes...Orlando Brown couldn't handle JJ Watt...Skura might not be back enough to normal to warrant all the playing time he's getting...Phillips is going to be learning the RG position but he needs to be a quick learner in the NFL...Tavon Young's injury made me ill---he can't catch a break...Averett couldn't handle his position. So, good news and still lots to work on. KC may give them fits.
  6. I don't think the Texans match up well against us. I foresee another victory though by a smaller margin.
  7. Great game if you are a Ravens fan. Lamar is other worldly as is Andrews and Marquise. Worried about Stanley. Is he OK?
  8. No. I agree with Max. I'll take even a shortened season. Some football is better than none, especially with how crummy a year 2020 has been so far.
  9. While I admit my enthusiasm isn't as great as years past, (after all we weren't even sure they'd play until a month ago) I'm slowly getting revved up. Maybe a good victory by the Ravens this Sunday will continue the ignition. We'll see. Both teams are loaded with talent.
  10. Ravens overcome a rather slow start to win 31-24.
  11. Once Jones rocketed one to Carr in that old stadium that I could hear as well as see! That guy had an arm for the ages.
  12. Well. Good riddance if the leadership council didn't want him on the team; I suspect there were a lot more incidents that have occurred that soured his teammates on him. Shame about the cap hit but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. Makes me even happier we didn't sign Antonio or Dez!
  13. Heard this on local TV tonight as well. i think his contract may be a problem.
  14. And from what I've seen, it sure looks like muscle.
  15. Not sure they'll make it even to November.
  16. I really, really hope I'm wrong but I think I see a mess coming: https://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/bs-sp-ravens-rookies-report-20200721-fx7fbxsqlzgmbb3uanilrnd564-story.html

Yeah...I don't think they can. I don't think we'll see any football this year. Hope I wrong. I wonder what would happen to all the service time and contracts of the football players. Plus it's a year off their career lives. Sad situation.
  19. Well, the Supreme Court has kind of killed the hope on finance reform. That leaves out-raising them as the only viable alternative.
  20. Yep...the OL coach did a really good job.
  21. A big 'IF' no doubt. While things may change I just can't envision a season happening right now.
  22. Some positive news: https://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/
