I am hoping for the best for Ray Rice. I really like the guy. But...., that being said, no man should hit a woman, especially an NFL sized knockout blow. I'm guessing that alot of alcohol was consumed that night in A.C. Ravens F.O. needs to get busy.

I don't think he beat the shit out of her. More than likely, she hit him first and he responded with a one punch knockout. Was there the intent to do great bodily injury here? I don't believe Ray formulated that intent before he punched her. First offense, great community guy, no prior record. It all comes down to that at the sentencing portion of the case. Probation, even if he is convicted ot the felonious assault. Personlly, I'm guessing that the case is plea bargained down to misdemanor assault, he gets one to two years probation, and a league suspension of four games.

....who expects him to be suspended? And for how long? I say yes with four weeks off to start the season but he won't spend a day in jail. It's seriously time to find another H-back.

No doubt, our F.O. is one of the best in the NFL, and our record over the last 10-12 years reflects this. This year is, apparently no exception as Oz and company are working their magic. Coach Harbaugh stated that the Ravens are now looking to to address 9 specific positions and that they have both the money to grab more free agent players and to make an impact in this upcoming draft on May 8-10. I have full confidence that an 8-8 season is a thing of the past with this team. It's good to be a Baltimore Raven fan.

If anyone deserves this great honor, it's Ray Lewis. Think about this. Anywhere in the country you go and mention "Baltimore Ravens", it is synonimous with success and winning, another words, one of the better NFL teams for the past ten or so years. Papa- to answer your question -NO. Any player who would intentionally go for the knees, ankles, etc of an opposing player should be banned from this league. Your job as a pro is to be in top physical condition, know the playbook and give 110% each play. Not to intentionally hurt the guy on the other team. O.S.- Incognito would be horrible for this locker room. I doubt that many players would accept him as a teammate after the crap he pulled over the years and his behavior the last six or so months. No he is not worth it in my opinion.
