O'S OWN THE 8TH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Bad Boys from Baltimore. Yea....this was a real special win. A great game. They needed to win so the Tigers don't go to Detroit with the momentum. Very important game and win.

What a great opening game and performance from the O's! The Yard looked fantastic and the fans were outstanding.

I'm not confident about a Ravens victory at the moment. Not after seeing the Ravens secondary Sunday.Luck will feast on them. And the Ravens play like crap in Indy. But....I'm not feeling a loss either. Joe and the O should have a good day. If they run and control the clock and keep Luck off the field, then they have a shot at winning. Then if they don't turn the ball over, keep Joe upright and don't commit costly penalties they have an even better shot. I think the Ravens offense can put as good or better "a-hurt'n" on the Colts as Luck can do.

Williams and Ngata will eat Shipley alive. Their secondary just got weaker....

Here's some stats to see where the Ravens rank in the league. For me the only stats that matter are wins and losses, points scored and points surrendered, but I'll put out some other stats. Remember...6 teams are on bye week and have only played 3 games...19% of the league, so these numbers are not a 100% accurate picture. Team Record: 3-1 Offense: Forsett leads the league with 5.8 ypc. Talleferro is 16th with 4.5 ypc. Steve Smith #3 in receiving yards, #2 in 20+ yards and 7th in ypc @ 17.2 ( Torry's 6th with 17.3). Joe's ranked 8th in yards and TD's. The offense is 6th in yards and 7th in points scored. Defense: Ranked 16th in yards surrendered.8th best against the run and 24th vs the pass. They are #2 in points surrendered. Dummerville is 4th in the league with 3.5 sacks.

The media has been quick to mention the poor line play, poor running game...receiving corps...defense...injuries....when talking about players like Brady and Rodgers. They make it clear these guys are great but the cast around them is the reason for their mediocre performance. They never did this last year when talking about Flacco. They made it sound like Joe got his money and tanked.

NFL Network made a blunder too. On Sound FX when the Bucs scored with 7 seconds left....there was no sound.

I second that. When Brown and Aiken lined up with Torry and Steve Smith the Panthers D was pooping their pants. Throw in Owen Daniels and no team is that deep in coverage players. Somebody...more than somebody, will be open every time. and then there's Juice....

They have been like this historicly. Even the 2000 D.

Their OC sdhould be fired. They kept trying to run with receivers open all over the field!

I agree. My brother and I were saying the same thing...Smith can blow by people. Boldin can't.
