  1. Just a bs rumor. Harbaugh rests his vets. He only has 1 TE playmaker.
  2. It's a long list of the walking wounded. This is Thursdays updated practice.... http://www.cincinnati.com/story/blogs/2014/10/23/thurs-early-bengals-practice-report-questions-galore/17778529/
  3. Is that rasta?
  4. The Bengals know the importance of this game and they are focused.... I see a dogfight.
  5. i can't say that I'm feeling real confident about Sundays game. The Ravens have lost 4 of their last 5 games at Paul Brown stadium and the Bengals can see their season heading down the toilet if they don't win. It's a huge game for the playoff hopes for both teams. Who stands up to the pressure? I see a nailbiter with the Ravens winning. Here's 2 predictions... Howdy! The Ravens need the normal key ingredients to win on the road: Don't turn the ball over. No stupid penalties. In fact, keep them to a minimum. Run The Ball! Gain 100 yards and Ravens win. Throw 35 times and lose. Stop the run. Win time of possession. Score 7's...not 3's. Win in the Trenches. Tackle. Play solid fundamental football. Throw-catch, block and tackle. It's a simple game.
  6. For 17 straight games no single RB has had a 100 yard game against the Ravens. And.....
  7. looking better....
  8. The Ravens have the #1 stingiest defense for points surrendered and the #6 scoring offense. You can go places with that.
  9. The ovation for Buck was great! And you know what? I think he needed it. I sat next to Warrilow's father in law, wife and family. He's the inside LB for the Falcons and calls the defense. He was a walk on undrafted FA a year ago. I was careful not to say anything about their defense... He did sack Joe.
  10. 23rd in yards surrendered. 1st in fewest points surrendered.
  11. I think this will be a factor. I think a pissed off Ravens team will be coming to Cinci.
  12. Final Word from Steve Smith.......
  13. Yes they are. My worry is not them stopping the Ravens offense, but the Ravens offense stopping themselves. They will not get away with all the penalties and 2 interceptions at Paul Brown stadium.
  14. Ii think you're right. From my endzone view, the running lanes were there. Maybe Pierce and Taliferro are not getting enough touches to get in a rhythm. I guess I shouldn't worry. The Ravens have the #3 rushing attack after 7 games in yards....in part, because they choose to run more than other teams. They are 11th in ypc....this is a more telling number....but 4.5 ypc is not too shabby.
  15. Marvin has underachieved with a lot of talented teams and players going back to Carson Palmer era.
  16. I've seen enough of Hurst. Now he's adding penalties to his resume'. Give him a year in the weight room. KO and Monroe are huge keys to this offense. Joe needs protection against the good defenses that can get after the passer... and... I don't know if anybody is noticing this but, other than Forsett, the Ravens have no runner producing yards. Pierce is averaging 3.6 and Taliferro is getting 4.5 but both runners production has fallen off lately. This could be a weakness. Forsett needs to have some complimentary runners to spell him. He can't carry the load for 16+ games.
  17. You can now, very inexpensively, purchase video highlights of Kirk Cousins career. These are great stocking stuffers for For Indigenous Persons Fans.
  18. He's been hit in the head too many times to know he's doing something wrong.
  19. Yea! The coverage was there! I am starting to get very hopeful about the back end of the D. If they play tight and disciplined, then I think the sky is the limit for this team.
  20. Here's the trap; The Bengals are licking their wounds and staring at a season about to go down the toilet when it was so full of promise. This was going to be "Their Year." and they are by far not out of it. One win for the Bengals this coming Sunday changes everything... Meanwhile, the Ravens are feeling really good about themselves. They should. They keep building and getting better each week. They made held the #5 scoring offense 156 yards and about 20 points below their average. They mauled the Panthers. But everybody is beating those 2 teams and their O lines sucked. It was easy pickings. However crappy the Bengals have been playing and choking....they have playmakers and the confidence that they have the Ravens number. They still have that swag. And they beat the Ravens at M&T...and made the Ravens look inept and disjointed while doing it. A Bengal win and this season could spiral in different directions for each team. On the flip side, Sunday is a big win for the Ravens. They took care of business and like Harbaugh says, they are getting better, brick by brick each week. I think we all see that. This team is beginning to show the potential to be really good. This coming Sunday will show and decide a lot. They are walking into a dogfight.
  21. It shows that a team can have all the firepower in the world on offense but if the QB has shit for an O line than it's impotent. That's what happened to Joe and the Ravens offense last year. The media didn't mention it then but they have used it for and absolution for many struggling offenses this year.
  22. #5 scoring offense in the NFL.
