Thanks everybody. This was an interesting exercise because everybody here follows the Ravens closely. We know the team strengths and weaknesses. It is interesting because we can't come to a consensus on who the Ravens will win their games against. tsyl's prediction of 1-6 Is a very fitting point that basically says we don't know what this team will do. It's a real possibility. Depressing for sure, but it shows the difficulty of the task that lays before the Ravens if they want to make playoffs this year. They are that weakened by injuries. varavens For December losses in a row scenario looks like a heart attack waiting to happen at the end of the season. Oldno Has them sweeping the Steelers and losing both games to the Browns. crav Has it differently. And me???? As usual I'm all confused . Who will rise from the ashes and claim the North? The Browns have two remaining games with the Ravens, and one each with the Raiders, Packers, Steelers, and Bengals. The Steelers have two remaining games with the Ravens, and one each with the Bengals, Vikings, Titans, Chiefs, and Browns. Looking at that I'd say they're out of it. The Bengals have one remaining game against the Steelers, Chargers, 49ers, Broncos, Ravens, Chiefs, and Browns. Looking at that, for the Ravens to win the North, one of the games they'll really need is a win over the Bengals. They will also really need to split their games with the Steelers and Browns. Anyway you look at it, this is going to be one hell of a wild finish to the 2021 regular season.

Very hard for me to call crav. The Ravens are on life support now. You know how physical these divisional games are. The Ravens best shot is to win Sunday night and then go to Pit and win. That should beat this roster up good. The Browns will be rested coming off a bye while the Ravens are in Pitt so the 2nd Ravens game, in Cleveland, which could be their Super Bowl, will be awfully tough. Huntley was sacked 6 times by the Bears. What do you think Garrett will do vs this Ravens O line? Then it's Rodgers, Burrows and Stafford. then final regular season game vs Steelers at home. Of course it will all come down to this game.

Ravens D = Steelers D. It all comes down to Lamar vs Jen. Who will exploit the weaknesess the most? Ravens can sweep here. Jamison Hensley on Twitter “Current AFC playoff picture: 1. Titans (8-3) 2. Ravens (7-3) 3. Patriots (7-4) 4. Chiefs (7-4) 5. Bengals (6-4) 6. Chargers (6-4) 7. Bills (6-4) "Eye see musical chairs for the rest of the season with these standings."

I'm seeing 3-4 too. That puts them at 10-7 and probably a playoff spot....maybe win the division. Stat from USA Today: Four first-place teams – the Buffalo Bills, Tennessee Titans, Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers – lost Sunday. Over the past three weeks, division-leading clubs have dropped 11 games to opponents who didn't have a winning record. I'd say it's a wide open race for now with the Teams who improve, being the serious contenders in the playoffs. Right now..NE, Chiefs and Colts are the AFC Teams who seem to be improving and on the verge of putting some separation from the pack. If this trend continues for them, then they will be the cream of the AFC playoff teams.

We've seen 10 games and have a basic understanding of this 2021 Ravens team. With five divisional games remaining, and all four North teams very much in the Hunt for the AFC North title, it looks to be a dogfight to the end. The Ravens play the Browns Sunday night at home and then play the Steelers and Browns on the road, Packers at home, at the Bengles, home against the Rams and then they close out the season at home against the Steelers. What do you think the Ravens record will be for these final 7 games?

Mike agrees about the Ravens coaching..... The roster is so paper thin now. What are you going to do? Any decent QB will destroy this defense. Look what a cold, rusty Dalton did. They Ravens have to get healthy right now or the losses begin to pile up. Browns Sunday night. Lamar better get healthy and put up 40. But I loved the fight in the players. Huntley, Bowser, Andrews, Freeman, Oweh, Queen, Bateman, Watkins....and Tucker.

Jeff Zrebiec on Twitter “Ravens have 4 TEs and a FB active. They also are getting their biggest back, Latavius Murray, back. With no Lamar Jackson and no Marquise Brown, you'd have to think Greg Roman will lean heavy on run game.”
-
Lamar is out. So is Smith and Averett. It's gotten real thin now. It's on Huntley now.
-
Brown is out.. Jeff Zrebiec on Twitter “Ravens activate G Ben Cleveland to 53-man roster. G/DT Kahlil McKenzie signed to 53 man. ILB Joe Thomas was elevated from practice squad for Sunday’s game. OLB Pernell McPhee (knee) placed on IR. James Carpenter was released from practice squad.” The IR list is getting crazy. McSorely was activated to back up Huntley if Lamar can't play. Lamar is on the plane flying to Chicago. My guess is Lamar will play tomorrow.

QUOTE OF THE DAY! Jamison Hensley on Twitter “Lamar Jackson isn't worried if other defenses blitz him like the Dolphins did last game. "Coaches got right. We got right," Jackson said. "We all joined in and we’ll make something happen. If we see Cover-Zero again, we’ll have an answer."”

Those were exciting times for Ravens fans.

Sell. 2006 season .After the 2012 loss I really thought the Ravens would come back and win it all the next year. I had hope. 2006 left me empty. The January 2007 divisional loss to the Colts really hurt. 15-6. All FG's. I thought McNair was hung over. He looked out of it during that game. It was a wide open path to the Super Bowl. Ravens were 13-3 with an elite/great defense.

Buy or Sell: The Ravens biggest loss ever...... Baltimore Ravens Baltimore Ravens vs. New England Patriots Jan. 22, 2012, AFC Championship Game Gillette Stadium, Foxborough, Mass. The Ravens had two chances in the final 22 seconds to keep their Super Bowl hopes alive, and they let both slip through their grasp in a 23-20 loss to the Patriots. Wide receiver Lee Evans had the winning, 14-yard touchdown pass from Joe Flacco slapped out of his hands in the end zone. Then, with an opportunity to send the game into overtime, kicker Billy Cundiff wildly pulled a 32-yard field goal attempt wide left. "We fell 15 seconds from having it," linebacker Terrell Suggs said. "So, please believe, it won't happen again." The next season, the Ravens redeemed themselves by beating the Patriots in the AFC Championship Game and capturing the franchise's second Lombardi Trophy. -- Jamison Hensley...What is your NFL team's most heartbreaking loss? Nice positive outlook tsyl. I'll try and feed off it because today all that I see is a loss. I've been looking at the Bears too hard and not at what the Ravens can bring. 30% chance of rain at kick off time. 70% for the day. Keep an eye on that. The Ravens are 0-3 at Chicago. Lamar is 25-2 in his first starts against a team. We have that going for us. I'll make my prediction tomorrow. Few people caught the flu last year due to masks and social distancing. It's supposed to hit hard this year as people relax their disciplines. My son has it now....day 3....nasty. Jamison Hensley on Twitter “Ravens had six players not practicing Thursday: QB Lamar Jackson (illness) WR Marquise Brown (thigh) WR Rashod Bateman NT Brandon Williams (shoulder) OT Alejandro Villanueva (likely rest day) OLB Pernell McPhee (likely rest day)” Jeff Zrebiec on Twitter “Ravens who returned to practice: DB Jimmy Smith (hip), CB Tavon Young (foot), C Bradley Bozeman (illness) Jamison Hensley on Twitter “One surprise at Ravens practice today: OT OT Ja'Wuan James was working off to the side with a trainer. James is on the Non-Football Injury list after an Achilles injury this offseason. John Harbaugh previously said James could return sometime in December.”
