  1. 1pm in Pittsburgh. The Steelers are 5-5-1 and the Ravens are 8-3 in 1st place of the AFC North. Ravens win percentage 56.9. The Ravens are 3.5 favorites. The Ravens are looking for revenge on the Steelers after being swept last season due to a Covid decimated roster. They are in the same situation this year, only this roster is decimated by injuries.....however it won't be RG3 starting either. Both teams are struggling, with the difference being that the Ravens are finding ways to win while the Steelers look like a weak shadow of their former selves. The Ravens offense has taken a nosedive in scoring managing only 16, 16, and 10 points over their last three games. Lamer threw four interceptions and yet the Ravens still found a way to win with defense. The Ravens defense made a statement holding what was the #1 rushing attack in the NFL with Chubb and Hunt to 40 yards and holding the best roster on paper in the NFL to 10 points, seven of which, were a gift from the referees. That is quite an accomplishment considering Campbell was out for the game and 20 other guys. The Bengals are only one game behind the Ravens for the AFC North title so strange as this may seem, at 8-3, it's a must win game for the Ravens for four reasons: 1. The race for the AFC North title is still within reach of all four teams, with the Bengals holding the inside track only one game behind the Ravens. 2. It's a packed playoff crowd and tight race in the AFC. 8 teams are basically within 1-2 games of each other for playoff spots. A slew of others are right behind, waiting for somebody to falter. 3. This is a must win game for the Steelers who are at 5-5-1. It would be sweet revenge for the Ravens to bury them at 5-6-1 before their home crowd. 4. Including Sunday the Ravens have a very difficult schedule for the rest of the season with four games against division rivals and one game against the Rams and one game against the Packers. If the Ravens were healthy, then they would be fine. But that's not the case and anything can happen, so a win Sunday is very important. Stats? Here they are, but I'm throwing them out after watching the game against Cleveland Sunday night. This should be another classic, Ravens Steelers, last man standing, snot knocker. Team Stats Points Per Game 23.9 20.4 Points Allowed Per Game 21.8 24.3 Total Yards 411.6 338.4 Yards Passing 260.9 251.3 Yards Rushing 150.7 87.1 Yards Allowed 376.4 385.0 Pass Yards Allowed 292.2 251.9 Rush Yards Allowed 84.2 133.1
  2. Stats By STATS (@StatsBySTATS) The @Ravens are the only team in the Super Bowl era to: -score fewer than 17 pts -have fewer than 325 total yds -throw at least 4 more INT than their opponent ...and yet still win the game. Teams with those numbers were 0-275-1 in the Super Bowl era entering tonight (reg+post) Packers game flexed tom 4:25pm.... Jamison Hensley on Twitter “Ravens' updated remaining regular season schedule ... Dec. 5: at Steelers (4:25PM) Dec. 12: at Browns (1PM) Dec. 19: vs. Packers (4:25PM) Dec. 26: at Bengals (1PM) Jan. 2: vs. Rams (4:25PM) Jan. 9: vs. Steelers (1PM)”
  3. How many points does Rodgers put up off of 4 INT's?
  4. Wondering about that too. Last 3 games the Ravens offense scored 20 points, 16 and then 16 last night.
  5. Hey papa! I found a good tattoo for you.... Jamison Hensley on Twitter “Under John Harbaugh, the Ravens have now beaten the Browns 23 times. That's tied for the most victories by one team over another since the start of the 2008 season (the Patriots have beaten the Jets 23 times during this span). Harbaugh is 23-4 overall against the Browns (.852).”
  6. I feel the same. The Ravens don't.
  7. Logically, the Ravens have no business being the #1 seed in the AFC, at the moment. However, there is some invisible intangible....something in the soul or core of this team that has them giving everything they have for 60 minutes to overcome their weaknesses and find ways to win games. It's a cultural thing. They are consistent there. After a couple of decades as a Ravens fan you'd think that you would get used to winning ugly. You never do. At least for me. Don't get me wrong I love the winning. It's like the Ravens take their opponent into a bar, they get drunk and a sloppy, bar fight breaks out that somehow the Ravens usually win.
  8. On the INT's...stupid throws and reads. Lamar was off, rusty and seemed overly excited at the line as the Browns were moving around. Guessing here....he knew a blitz was coming and wanted to burn it so bad and was trying to figure out how. Thinking too much slowed him down on reading and reacting. He was not accurate with his throws. Timing patterns...where he throws the ball before the receiver breaks and both know where and when the ball will be, would have been killer plays last night....The Ravens offense can't do this now. The wide open receivers were there. 3 that I saw would have been certain TD's. The trouble is that Lamar was running for his life,
  9. Only 40 rush yards for the Browns!!!! 2.7 ypc!! I was sitting next to a Browns fan and wondering why he wasn't all excited. His team was in the game. Then it hit me. He's used to losing. The thought that the Browns could win didn't occur to him. While leaving the stadium I was walking behind a blind man. I swear. Totally inspiring to see him pushing his limits. Message: don't put limits on yourself. You....I...have no idea how far we can go, grow and accomplish.
  10. If Mayfield is erratic and inconsistent then...DO NOT HURT HIM! Har rass him...pressure him but Hands off! There is HOPE!!!! Jamison Hensley on Twitter “The Ravens (7-3) play host to the Browns (6-5) on Sunday night football. Baltimore is an NFL-best 17-2 (.895) in home primetime games in the John Harbaugh era. The Ravens have outscored opponents, 541-323, in primetime games at M&T Bank Stadium since 2008.”
  11. In Cleveland, Anthony Schwartz (concussion) was ruled out. Fellow wide receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones (groin), who’s second on the Browns in receiving yardage, is questionable along with reserve cornerback Troy Hill (questionable). Starting quarterback Baker Mayfield (left shoulder/foot/groin) is expected to play after fully practicing Thursday and Friday.DL Calais Campbell, 4 cornerbacks among Ravens questionable vs. Browns; QB Lamar Jackson set to play (msn.com)
  12. I don't see how the Ravens can win Sunday night.... DL Calais Campbell, 4 cornerbacks among Ravens questionable vs. Browns; QB Lamar Jackson set to play (msn.com)
  13. Yea...and Humphry was the only CB to practice!
  14. “Ravens had 9 players not practicing Wednesday: DE Calais Campbell (concussion) FB Patrick Ricard (hip, foot) CB Anthony Averett (thigh) OL Patrick Mekari (ankle) CB Jimmy Smith (neck) CB Chris Westry (thigh) CB Tavon Young (foot, knee) OL Cedric Ogbuehi WR Miles Boykin (finger)”
  15. Jamison Hensley on Twitter “In addition to Lamar Jackson and Marquise Brown, NT Brandon Williams (shoulder) returned to practice after missing the last three games. LB Malik Harrison was also back practicing after being designated to return off Non-Football Injury list. He was shot in the calf on Oct. 31.”
  16. Here's how important Sunday night is... Jamison Hensley on Twitter “The Ravens currently have a 59% chance to win the AFC North, per ESPN's Football Power Index. With a win over Browns on Sunday night, the Ravens improve their chances of winning the division to 72%. A loss to the Browns decreases the Ravens' chances to win the AFC North to 39%.”
  17. Jamison Hensley on Twitter “The Ravens currently have a 59% chance to win the AFC North, per ESPN's Football Power Index. 18. Hey...I'll take it.... 2. (AFC North Champion) Ravens Heading into Week 12, the AFC North is the only division in the NFL where every team is above .500. Despite the stiff competition, the computer really seems to like the Ravens' chances of winning the division crown this year. According to SportsLine, the Ravens have a 56.3% chance of taking home the AFC North title, which is well ahead of the Bengals (18.7%), Steelers (13.5%) and Browns (11.5%). 2021 NFL Playoff Picture: Here are the projected postseason chances for all 32 teams heading into Week 12 - CBSSports.com
  19. They have Freeman, Murray, Williams and McCrary. Too late in the season for him to learn this offense and assignments. Would he be an upgrade? Bruce_Almty • 15 hours ago • edited From Twitter, Summary of Lindsay's carries as a Texan: 5 of 50 Best Carries, 35 (31-4), 11, 9, 8, 8. 22 Carries of 0-2 yds 9 Carries of negative yds Poster concludes with: He sucked. Like REALLY, REALLY bad.
  20. Lamar was at walk throughs yesterday. We'll know more today. From what I hear he's healthy. Jamison Hensley (@jamisonhensley) Big week for the AFC North. Steelers (5-4-1) at Bengals (6-4) Browns (6-5) at Ravens (7-3) Who's winning in Week 12? This should make your morning coffee taste better..... John Harbaugh's candidacy for NFL Coach of the Year is second to none. 7-3 through 11 weeks (1st in AFC North) Has had as many as 17 players on IR Lost 6 starters to season-ending injuries Orchestrated 4 wins by 3 points or less 1 win with backup QB. Gutsy. Imagine calling Ravens’ win luck while missing QB1, WR1, LT1, RB1-3, CB2-4, DT1, FS1, etc Ravens create their own “luck” by developing depth & a culture where teammates & coaches don’t turn on each other when things look bleak. Ravens don’t quit or give excuses.
  21. Ravens versus Browns. Sunday night at 8 PM. At the Bank. Ravens win percentage 61.2. At 6-5 the Browns are circling the drain. The Browns have two remaining games with the Ravens, and one each with the Raiders, Packers, Steelers, and Bengals. A Sunday night loss and they fall to 6-6 and the Ravens go to 8-3 and with five games remaining for the Browns, their chances of making the playoffs become very slim. A win however can quickly get them back in the hunt and put them only one game behind the Ravens. That's how quickly things can change. It's just as much a "must win" game for the Ravens because it's a divisional rival and the Bengals are currently only one game behind the Ravens. It looks like it's going to be a dogfight for the next month to see who wins the AFC North. The Ravens barely beat the Bears with a paper thin roster that exposed a lot of holes and weaknesses. We will see as the week progresses who comes back healthy for the Ravens, Hopefully Brandon Williams will be back to help in stopping Chub. because at the moment the Browns can only count on their run game. Will Brown, Averett, Smith be back? Other than Mayfield, it looks like the Browns are getting healthier. "Here. Let me fix that other shoulder," Any way that I look at it, this game is a toss up. It's a 12th man night and they are giving the fans some kind of color changing, interactive bracelet that is guaranteed to make you feel so 5th Ave styling that you will march home proud, with your chest out and show it off to your family and friends. Yanda will be there as the Ravens Legend of the Game. Maybe he can get that line to road grade. Oh...it will be cold. Team Stats Points Per Game 22.2 24.7 Points Allowed Per Game 22.8 23.0 Total Yards 379.7 421.5 Yards Passing 222.9 270.5 Yards Rushing 156.8 151.0 Yards Allowed 334.4 385.3 Pass Yards Allowed 233.0 296.7 Rush Yards Allowed 101.4 88.6
