I don't know. Lamar looked and sounded great today. Said he's 110%. He's been hit 110 times to lead the league in that category. Listening to Lamar it sounds like Boyle will play Sunday.

Jamison Hensley on Twitter “Lamar Jackson on how his body feels coming off the bye: "I definitely feel refreshed. I feel great. 110%." Jackson has been hit a league-high 110 times this season. Only one other QB has been hit more than 90 times this season (Jalen Hurts at 100).” Jamison Hensley on Twitter “The Ravens, who rank 3rd in the NFL in total yards, could get back WR Sammy Watkins (hamstring) and TE Nick Boyle (knee) for Sunday's game against the Vikings. "I don’t really know the limit with our offense," quarterback Lamar Jackson said.” Jamison Hensley on Twitter “Coming off their bye, the Ravens had seven players missing at Wednesday’s practice: RB Latavius Murray (ankle) WR Sammy Watkins (hamstring) OL Patrick Mekari (ankle) DE Derek Wolfe (back/hip) OLB Justin Houston DT Brandon Williams QB Tyler Huntley” And The Quote Of The Day!... Jamison Hensley on Twitter “The Ravens moved into first place in the AFC North during their bye week. "It’s great to be in first place. It doesn’t matter," John Harbaugh said. "We are in first place after seven games. We need to be in first place after 17 games. That’s what we’re shooting for."”

I have no details other than Harbaugh sent condolences to his family. I know he's been sick a long time. What a great guy! I've seen him at so many places and had time talking with him on several occasions. Baltimore to the Bone.

Yes...very tragic for everyone involved. The media has a tendency to focus on the celebrity and what will happen to them, while those who lost their lives and the impact on their families gets little attention. I'm sure he never wanted to take anybody's life or cripple somebody but in an instant he did. It could have been any of us who have driven intoxicated.

Cornerback Chris Westry has been activated to return to practice Tuesday, kicking off a 21-day window for him to practice before needing to be activated to the 53-man roster. Westry suffered a knee injury in the Ravens' Week 1 opener in Las Vegas and has missed the past six games. The 6-foot-4, 199-pound cornerback was a training camp and preseason standout.Ravens Activate Chris Westry to Return to Practice (baltimoreravens.com) Orlando Brown did not look good last night. Villanueva has blown 15 blown blocks in 266 pass blocking snaps this season. Orlando Brown Jr., by contrast, has 16 blown blocks in 332 pass-blocking snaps for the Kansas City Chiefs this season. He was not worth the money to keep him. Some interesting stats on the Ravens from a good article in the Sun.......

Sounds like some of the girlfriends I've had. Jamison Hensley Jamison Hensley on Twitter “The Ravens are currently 5.5-point favorites over the Vikings. Baltimore is 14-6 (.700) is its last 20 games in November. Minnesota is 0-3 against teams with winning records this season.”

By the time the Ravens kickoff at 1 PM Sunday at the Bank they will of had two weeks to put Humpty Dumpty back together again. There's been a lot of fan discussion about how this could happen because the weaknesses in this 2021 Ravens team are glaring and obvious. Poor tackling has led to 1200 yards after the catch which is worst in the league. Not surprisingly, the Ravens have the worst pass defense in the NFL giving up 296 yards per game. A decent and consistent pass rush, pressuring and sacking the quarterback would be a great help, but so far this season that section of the defense has been inconsistent. The Ravens run defense has been solid and needs to have a good showing against Cook to make the Vikings offense one-dimensional. On the offenses side of the ball it has been the Lamar Jackson show. He accounts for almost 95% of the Ravens offense because other than him, the running game is basically stalled. The bright spot on offenseis the emerging passing attack and the solid core of receivers that Lamar has the throw to. Watkins, Bateman, Brown, Andrews, and Duverney are developing into a lethal group. Last but not least, the Ravens possess the G.O.A.T of all kickers in Justin Tucker and a very excellent special teams unit. The game is won in three phases and Sunday just might be the day for Special Teams to shine. Team Stats Points Per Game 23.3 26.7 Points Allowed Per Game 22.4 23.4 Total Yards 404.6 432.6 Yards Passing 280.6 283.1 Yards Rushing 124.0 149.4 Yards Allowed 390.0 398.4 Pass Yards Allowed 269.1 312.3 Rush Yards Allowed 120.9 86.1 The Ravens received help during the bye week the Browns ,Colts, Chargers, and Bengals losing their games, Facing a tough final seven games stretch to end the regular season, the Ravens need to build as much cushion as possible. A win Sunday will give the Ravens a full game lead in the AFC North with a chance to build on it against the Dolphins and Bears. Ravens Win percentage 63.5% Now..... If you're addicted to worry like I am, then ignore that win percentage. All kinds of unseen horrors and catastrophes are waiting to manifest. The Vikings stand at 3-4 after a lackluster game against Mexico's Team. Their backs are very much against the wall...almost in desperate for a win territory. This is a "Must Win" game for them. !!! The Vikings have a solid running game with Dalvin Cook. They put up a lot of yards per game. And the Ravens have a penchant for creating 400 yard passers. Will Kirk Cousins be the next? Will Don Zimmer awake from his stupor of vanilla unimaginative game plans? He might, as the Viking crowd chants "Off With His Head!" The Vikings will come at Lamar in every way imaginable because if you can stop or contain him then you stop the Ravens. Yes! This will be a fun day for us worriers and fear mongers'. to bond together! Finally it still remains speculation on what Ravens players will be coming back healthy and ready to contribute this week and next week. It's anticipated that Watkins Murray and Boyle will be available for Sunday's game. Hopefully Hayes will be ready. Wolfe is still a maybe. It remains unknown about Mekari, and Cleveland. Some of the pieces are coming back into place. The good news is that the Ravens always come back strong after a bye week. If bye week past history plays out into the present, then we will see new wrinkles and schemes on both sides of the ball with some new faces and players. Then there is Lamar Jackson, who always surprises and kicks it into another gear for the final playoff run. There's a lot to look forward to and it should be very exciting. Trivia: Anybody remember this? Dec. 8, 2013 – Ravens 29, Vikings 26 "The Snow Game" featured the craziest fourth quarter in Ravens history, in which 36 points were scored in the final two minutes, seven seconds. Marlon Brown hauled in a toe-tapping touchdown with 4 seconds left for the win. It was a great game and you can have hours of good clean fun watching it again on the Ravens website along with 24 other great Ravens games. Spoken like a true optimist. Now...can we' look for the good' in this? "The Ravens' poor tackling has led to 1,200 yards allowed after the catch -- worst in the NFL. "..NFL Power Rankings Week 9: 1-32 poll, plus each team's biggest weakness going forward (espn.com)

Head Coach John Harbaugh said wide receiver Sammy Watkins (hamstring), running back Latavius Murray (ankle) and tight end Nick Boyle (knee) all "have a chance" to return against Minnesota. Defensive lineman Derek Wolfe (back) could also return after resuming practice last week. Watkins has missed the last three games, Murray missed the Week 7 loss against the Cincinnati Bengals, while Boyle has been out all season. "They all have a chance," Harbaugh said. "Whether they make it or not is up in the air."Several Injured Ravens ‘Have a Chance’ to Return vs. Vikings (baltimoreravens.com)

Bengals What to know: The Bengals got the humbling lesson they desperately wanted to avoid. Cincinnati blew an 11-point fourth-quarter lead and, despite being heavy favorites, suffered a stunning upset. Cincinnati was coming off a massive win over Baltimore. And against a one-win New York team, the Bengals squandered a chance at a thee-game winning streak and instead created questions about whether they can sustain their strong start. -- Ben Baby Is the defensive performance concerning? A little. The Bengals have statistically been one of the NFL's best defenses this season and were coming off a dominating performance against the Ravens and quarterback Lamar Jackson. Cincinnati was straight-up walloped by first-time starter Mike White, who threw for 405 yards and three TDs. -- Baby Baby's confidence rating (0-10): 6.5, down from 8.5. Some of the Bengals' old ghosts -- shaky offensive play early and a bad defensive outing -- showed up in the worst way in the Meadowlands. Sssshhhh! Listen. What's that I hear? A faint moaning sound... in the wind. A wailing. It's the wailing of Browns and Bengals fans! "In the last three games, the Browns have scored 14-17-10 points."

"I don't know what's wrong with kids these days. Not one car window on my street was soaped. Not one tree toilet papered."

Good Hunting today. Bagged some Bengals, Browns, Colts...

Jets down 17-14 @ the half having 3vturnovers. Remember Mixon? 1.7 ypc. Steelers lost their kicker Boswell on cute but disastrous 4th play. Look lout for the Bears.., they are scrappy. Bills/ Dolphins 3-3 barn burner. Colts up 17-14... want Colts to lose..get some breathing room.

Best way to go!

It's a RedZone Day! A Halloween Red Zone Day . OK...Steelers Browns 1 pm. Steeler fan for that one because they are not going anywhere. Maybe a tie would be better. So I'm a Jets fan today... ...Pats.... Not sure on Titans/Colts....I guess I'll pull for the Titans to win and bury the Colt's a little deeper. Dolphins fan too. ..give the Bills a loss. That will help. You can see that I'm into lost causes. Should be a lot of horror in store for me. The 8 o'clock Mexico's Team vs Vikings has some interest because the Ravens play the Vikings next week.

We can do one thing more oldno. It's going to be an exciting stretch run. We can enjoy it.
