They are friggn'n football legends who played past their prime so...yea...athletically the Ravens will be faster and stronger this year. Ray and Ed kept that D together when it was wiped out by injuries. They willed that bunch of average Joe's to play all out. I'm so happy for Ed that he got his Super Bowl ring and for Ray's relentless pursuit for his second. They put up with a lot of shit over the years...a lot of putrid offenses... but gave everything they had to the team.

Dumerville was brought in to replace Kruger. At least Upshaw was able to put on a uniform and play this year unlike Adams and DeCastro..

They couldn't have jumped 8 spots. They finished a puny 26th out of 32 teams in rushing. Saying both your draft picks contributed is stretching it. Yea....they contributed to an 8-8 season. Upshaw contributed. He was solid in the playoffs. And... the Steelers couldn't sign a mercenary, their own players or anybody because they were CAP Broke.

He's really worked himself into great shape. It proves he wants it. In other news...

He has to lose 20 pounds to make an impact. That's way too much at this time of the year. He's opened the door for McPhee, McClellan, and Simon...who might end up being the best of all.

Todays game was great and made for an enjoyable Sunday afternoon. This is one fun team to follow. I love the talent and line up. Like last year, it's new names...Gausman 6 innings 1 run against a line up that carpet bombed the O's yesterday. Casiila, Valencia... and I don't know what to say about Davis...he's on an incredible hot streak.
