  1. I really like this pick. He's the kind of player who will force the Ravens to find a starting spot for him. Remember...Dumerville is not too good against the run.
  2. You don't wait until the 7th round to find a replacement for Boldin. He has good speed...4.6. Good hands and feet. Some of those catches remind me of Boldin...but he's definitely not Boldin or this would go down as one of the all time great draft picks...like Brady.

"Something tells me that he better get the furniture before you do."
  4. I'd sign him just because of this...
  5. "Think combo Jerry Rice/Boldin..... .....Small Division 587 school....nobody scouts these...there's at least one Jerry Rice sitting at home every year because of this. Ozzie made history with this pick."
  6. I love the Arthur 'Fire' Brown pick. Perfect fit behind that big D line. It's all about speed and fundamentals. Art is a high motor, sideline to sideline, fast, hard hitting, solid tackling machine who can cover. Ray couldn't do any of that last year. It was a big hole and weakness in the D. Couldn't stop the bleeding or get off the field on 3rd down last year. The O couldn't get the ball. It will be a different story this year. Oh! It gets better! Elam is way faster than Pollard. He's a sure tackler which Pollard was average at. He hits as hard as Pollard and he can cover which was Pollard's weakness.
  7. Kiper gives the Ravens an A.
  8. I really like this guy....very fundamentally sound. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=HBtPTH5U7aY
  9. They only had Geno. They have to have at least 1 more player who can play center. I'm hopeful about Geno. He's had a year to bulk up and learn from the best. He has a great attitude and work ethic.
  10. I'm hearing he'll compete at center.
  11. Here's more....
  12. Yea...and that CAP number is the only reason that he may go.
  13. I don't know....a project...a guy who needs his knees real bad but they keep blowing out. Initial burst is everything at his position. Bad luck rests on this guy like Kindle and Dan Cody. Hopefully Ozzie knows something we don't, but that's highly doubtful because we have knowledge things they are not wanting us to know.
  14. He could be a CAP casualty at this point.
  15. 6'6" 308lbs. Left Guard????? Next to Osemele at LT????? They would be a road grading machine.
  16. It doesn't look like that will happen. Maybe an Act of God makes this a breakout year for Harewood. McKinnie might be back. Jah Reid....maybe?????
  17. Need to run full speed into linebackers and defensive linemen? Get a Polack. This pick looks versatile. He can block, catch and score. Develop him behind Leach....find some goal line packages for him.
  18. He'll play linebacker...just my guess...
  19. Don't you just love how the experts are calling the 49er's the deepest, most talented team in the NFL?
  20. I'm heading out now to get my picture taken with the Super Bowl trophy! Gee...I feel like I'm on Facebook posting about my incredibly exciting life....
  21. I think that you are coming down on Ray too hard. It's almost impossible to repeat crav...look at the history of the NFL. I don't expect a repeat. Chemistry pulled this team through a brutal run last year...there were a ton of talented great character players. The 23013 Ravens have to find who the next leaders will be....the guys who will set the work ethic and standard. They lost a lot of that with the departure of Boldin, Pollard, Burke, Ray and Ed. Ray was great as a rookie but he was no leader. He wasn't 2000 Ray. It takes time for' the youth to become the savy vet'. Now this team still has a ton of great character players in Suggs, Rice, Flacco, Tory Smith, Yanda, Ngata, Webb, Jones...and my main man Tucker... How well will Dumerville, Elam, Brown, Huff, Canty, Spears...all the new draft picks fit in? Will they be important parts of the Ravens team chemistry? I think they will. You can have a lot of great players but if everybody is going their own way then you don't have a team. Right now there are teams who are building momentum and on the cusp of getting where the Ravens are. Only one will have that little extra "oomph" to end up the Super Bowl winner. How many years did Ray play? How many different Ravens rosters was he on and how many Super Bowls did he win with those rosters? There were a lot of damn good rosters. So I'm where Ray's at..."But who knows? It's unpredictable, as always"
  22. Mike Preston likes the first 2 days of the Ravens draft...me too! The high motor speed and nose for the ball is what impresses me the most about Elam and Brown. Elam hits as hard as Pollard but he's a much better tackler. Brown can cover and run sideline to sideline. Williams....maybe the next Buddy Lee. It's coming together.
