  1. "I have a question. What's the over/under on the amount of times Rthsxlssbrrgrr gets sacked?"
  2. A win Sunday and I will definately be feeling that. Right now I'm "guardedly optimistic". but I'll tell you...I can see the Ravens winning out. Dallas...done. Jags...cooked. So the Steelers are the only strong team the Ravens have left to play.
  3. Some things don't change rm52. Under Harbaugh it's "If you don't have the ball, then you're blocking." One reason the Ravens are 5th in rushing.
  4. They're all bandwagon fans crav. You never hear from them when the Steelers are having a bad year. Their last Super Bowl win was so lame. Rthsllxxsbrrgrrr has the worst performance for any SB QB and it was clear to all football fans that the refs did everything they could to kill Seattle's momentum and stop the killshot drives that would put the Stealers away. Hence they will forever be known as the Stealers. One For the Thumb That they sit upon.
  5. That's too sick...well...not for you, but for the rest of us.
  6. Cam has had 1 good look at them already. Now he'll have a game plan that will have the Ravens O scoring more than enough points to win. It's like this. The fans want this win bad. The Players want this win bad. But the Ravens coaching staff.....they are the capital "K" in Killers. That is one serious, hungry, gutsy, agressive and intelligent bunch. They want this win so friggn'n bad. There's one thing on their mind: Shock the World.
  7. "Still, the nation should....kiss our ass in gratitude for giving them a REAL FOOTBALL GAME!!!!" After 5 Prime Time Browns games there should be a lot of "Thank You God!" prayers.
  8. Rthslsxbrrgrrr has been sacked almost twice as many times as Flacco....and has a lower QB rating. Unleash the hounds! Shitsburgh has the 26th ranked offense. Now...the two stingiest defense will be on the field. It will be tough on both offenses to score so the Ravens need the 12th man ( us ) to make life hell for the Stealer offense.
  9. "Waaaaahhhh!!! "We were 6-2 and now we're 7-6 and you find that hard to believe," quarterback Jason Campbell said. "You'd thought you'd at least be sitting here 9-2 or maybe 10-3. and now this in front of all those people! Waaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!"
  10. Add me to the list those who think "Bring the Pain" McLain reminds me of Jerome. He just doesn't look as much like a human bowling ball...but he gets the same result.
  11. Nice write up dc and thanks for taking the time. It was loud last night and the fans did cause penalties and confusion but it wasn't as loud as normal because we were all bundled up and no way in hell was I going to take my gloves off...but I certainly ran my mouth! Quick thoughts from the stadium... The receivers hard a hard time getting open...credit the Skins secondary because Flacco had the time to make plays. However...he left some plays on the field. Recievers did get open for brief moments when they would hit a 'dead spot'. The problem is that Joe was locked into his read and he actually had the time for a second glance accross the field to see the better WR to throw to. That will come with experience. Perhaps he was paying attention to the clock in his head and felt it was time to get rid of the ball. Figures won't be here long if he keeps missing the open North/South running lanes. They were there, although briefly. His co-ordinator was in his face...livid that Yamon ran east/west. Wilcox killed special teams with 2 costly penalties.... The Ravens D????...it was like they were in a frenzy at times...they can get so scary good. The Ravens offense couldn't get any 1st downs to get in a rythmn and the defense had a hard time getting 3 and outs during the 'punters dueling' period of the game. So...the Ravens O stalled. It was boring until they got on track. McGahee looked...like crap IMO...I don't blame him for fumbling the pitch. Flacco whipped that to him way too fast and off target. It was so cold I have no idea how these guys catch a ball or hang onto it. Plus the wind was a factor. You could see balls going where they were not supposed to. They were getting knocked off track. The light bulb went off: "This is why they say you have to have a running game come December and the playoffs." Got to have it. So the Ravens get the first 7 points right off the bat. The Skins fan next! to me (yes...I feel dirty )says, "No problem! A minor bump." Another quick 7 points and the Ravens up by 14 I say "You ain't comming back. Not against this defense. This games over and Campbell is in deep trouble." There was something about the way Joe Flacco trotted out onto the field during the pre game intros. It was like I've seen this before. Then I heard Gary Stein on the radio after the game bring it up. He said another guy used to calmly take the field, looking down...John Unitas. Can't wait to watch the game tape tonight. "Only I can catch a ball this close to the ground."
  12. I'll get into the hate tomorrow. Right now I'm savoring last nights win over the Potomac Drainage Basin Indigenous Persons. They can say what they want but last night the Ravens knocked them out of the playoff hunt. Dan Snyder was seen sitting on the edge of his bed tearing the stuffing out of his teddy bear. But you are right crav...this is every football fans dream...and I too...hate Shitsburg.
  13. At the game you could see Washington running all out to keep stride with the Skins receivers...then when the ball was in the air, Reed or Leonard would yell "Ball!" and Fabian would turn his head to make a play and avoid any penalty. The communication was there tonight. The QB pressure was too. Yea...great addition Ozzie!
  14. 4th and 1 and he calls the pass play to Heap. Nobody saw that comming. Everybody's thinking QB sneak or pound McLain. Then, on the TD throw to Mason, he had the Skins D reeling from 5,000 "Bring the Pain" McLain running plays...they think run...or just can't think at that point and he calls the toss to Mason.Brilliant! All this while knowing the only way the Ravens lose is if they commit the costly turnover....and they already had 2 costly turnovers that let the Skins back in the game! That takes balls.

    Week 14

This wasn't a good night to throw deep. It was windy...swirling at times....and cold as shit! Froze my ass off.... Skins fans were quiet all night.
  16. I just saw 2 ravens land in my tree in the backyard...ok...so they might be humongous crows...let me stretch the truth a little please! It's a sign from God I tell you! Ravens Victory! And yes nattyboh...I get nervous before every Ravens game wether they are playing slappies or beasts and I'm nervous about this one. I just know in my 'Bichiotti gut' that the Ravens and fans will show up tonight.
  17. That's all a fan can ask for and Ravens fans have 4 of them beginning tonight. If the team can pull out a win toninght then the "more meaningful" it gets! Before the season began I thought 6...maybe 7 wins. I based that on a new HC, banged up O line, banged up RB's in camp, new OC and system, questionable secondary, some ageing players on D, Ogdens retirement, and Kyle Boller as the starting QB. Yes Boller...not Smith. Boller in camp, while not impressive, was way better than Smith IMO. I had no faith in Troy consistantly completing passes after watching him hit a beauty only to be followed by 3-4 clunkers. So what if he can run. That's what D's want...a QB that thinks panic run as soon as he can't find an open man or make the right read. Yea...he avoided the sack...yea the punt team is out there. Well...like you I'm pleased beyond all expectations and this has been one of the more enjoyable seasons for me to follow as a Ravens fan. Call it denial or years of hopeful futility but my brain still has a hard time believing the Ravens have their rock solid QB of the future. But they do! They really do. I heard a fan on talk radio the other day say we owe all of this to Steve's Bichiotti's gut instinct that a HC change needed to be made. Thank You Steve...and may I add an Art Modell saying..."from the bottom of my heart".
  18. It seems Joe agrees with you cleetz...
  19. Both teams will be bringing it hard as their seasons are on the line, but in this Sunday Night Snotknocker, the Kings of Snotknocking will lay a new meaning of Ugly on the Redskins offense. The only way the Skins leave with a "W" is if the Ravens offense commits costly turnovers. So I see a low scoring game, with the Potomac Drainage Basin Indigenous Persons comming out on the low end of the Low Scoring Stick. Real low...like 3-6 points for a nights work. We the fans can't win it, but we sure can help as the 12th man. Let's make Sunday Night... a Night of Hell for the Skins! Now....Let's hear what Kevin Byrne has to say about a little pre game feast they have prepared for the fans... No Problem Kevin!!!!!!! ps..."It's going to be cold. Wear you're fur lined jock straps...on your heads!!! It will creep them out!!!!!"
  20. Enough already! You guys are giving Willis migraines...
  21. I saw a lot of experts picking the Ravens as a wild card while surfing the net this morning. I was surprised. They threw in the difficut schedule ahead too. They like what they see...me too!
