  1. Well, by your own posts, too numerous to mention, they aren't developing CJ Mosley our #1 pick. He had great rookie year but dropped off this year. That's going backward, not developing. Jernigan also went backward and Stewart hasn't done anything yet. Still waiting to hear from him. They sure the hell haven't developed Elam either, another #1 pick whom many are already calling a bust and they cut that DB from TExas, I forget his name and Canty went backward when he got here. They didn't do anything for him. They finally figured out what to do with Kruger the Beast after 4 years of doing nothing but that was PAGs who figured out he's just a 2 down player and he's still playing that way in Cleveland. Most of the entire city wants Pees out of Dodge. Pees D blew that 3 TD lead in SB 47 and would have been crucified and never let back in the city if he had. HARBs saved him from himself at the end when he kept ordering Pees to blitz, blitz and blitz at the end to apply the pressure. Let them beat the blitz. He knew KAP got rattled by it and did on the last play with Jimmy Smith taking Crabtree out and KAP overthrew Crabtree. HARBs said he remember the losses that year to Skins and GB when they won it at the end and DC took it to OT for the win as they kept coming back. And Ellerbe blitzing forced KAP to throw the ball out of bounds when Ellerbe blitzed him.
  2. Anyone remember that trade. While Denver got Tebow with the Ravens pick in the 1st round, Ozzie traded out of first because there was no one he liked and grabbed Kindle who was a bust after falling down the steps and cracking his head open before training camp started. He appeared at one mini camp and was great. But we got Dickson and Pitta by trading down and both contributed to SB win and Pitta won it with his TD over the middle. Peter King says nobody wins when they trade with Baltimore and New England. http://www.foxsports.com/nfl/story/tim-tebow-denver-broncos-baltimore-ravens-trade-2010-nfl-draft-030216
  3. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Please don't feed the trolls.
  4. They do? I thought everyone wanted to off Pees and his entire staff. LOL It would be great if SD and JAGs left Buckner on he board for us.
  5. They were about $6M under the CAP going into negotiations and just doubled that space. Ozzie said this is about keeping Joe not the CAP but they done good and have enough to buy one FA. Others can restructure.
  6. Oz also said that we're not doing this for the CAP. This is so we can keep Joe as our QB. ESPN showed the lowered paid QBs and Joe is lumped in there with the guys that came out in the last 2 or 3 years but the last time I figured it out Joe was making over $1M pr game. There's 16 games. Each NFL player gets 1 check pr week which is 1/16th of his salary. So add up Joe's money and it comes to over $1M pr game. That amount started around the 2d year of his contract. I don't have all the figures in front of me so someone can correct me. They don't get paid for pre-season games but get room, board and meals and a token of a check. They're all millionaires anyway with min wage around $800Gs for the worse player - $60,000-$70,000, for guys on the practice squad. They don't get paid for the POs but they do get winners/losers shares for each PO game. SB winners usually get around $92,000 while the losers get half plus earnings from all the POs games getting there. When the Colts won the 58 sudden death championship game, each player got around $5,500.
  7. It was all included in my thread - 10 game suspension for Nicky for 2d violation of PEDs.
  8. Some people get too technical in here. If Ozzie has Jack ranked high on his board and he's there, he'll take him and let the coaches sort the rest of it out. We'd have two impact players on Defens - Mosley and Jack if taken. As far as CRAVN's link, Jerry has come out and said he wants a wide receiver to complement DEZ so that's Treadwell. Jerry's last remark that I read said we can wait another year to groom Romeo's replacement.
  9. Thanks guys. Great posts. WoW Cravn - If the Jags take Jack that leaves Ramsey for us. All the mocks I've seen have Jags drafting Ramsey or Bosa if there. So to recap. If they get Jack, that leaves; The best two CBs in the draft Ramsey Hargreaves The best LTs in the draft Tunsil - if SD takes Tunsil that leaves Buckner for us Stanley Spence - the rising pass rusher
  10. Correction: I can't delete this from above post for some reason but the list I posted would also leave Tunsil to us if SD takes Buckner. So I re-write: with these players gone, Bosa Wentz Buckner Treadwell Ramsey That leaves Tunsil Jack Stanley Hardgreaves Spence for us to choose from. Not bad. Ozzie would be tripping over himself taking the card up to the table for Tunsil the best LT in the draft. Most mocks have him going early as high as #1 before Bosa posted his 40 times. They're all impact players that can turn the season around and MacKenzie Alexander, CB and great playmaker in the 2d round would make it even better but that's a dream. He'll probably be gone.
  11. Jack is certainly the BPA over Hardgreaves. Some scouts say he's the best player in the draft. See Jack thread. But Stanley would be the BPA over all of them except Jack and I've seen him going as high as the 3rd round with Tunsil being a possible #1 pick. Like with JO and Jim Parker of the Colts, we could plug Tunsil or Stanley on the left side and forget about it for the next decade.
  12. At least one scout is saying Jack is the best player in the draft and has been saying it for months. Kiper put him in the top 6. The Milwaukee Sentinel seems to be saying the same as the scout and Jack should be there for us. So why haven't we heard of him. I didn't until Mel came out with his MOCK.2 list and said he's a top 6 pick with Bosa and Buckner. If Bosa is back to being the #1 player drafted, then Jack will be there for us because Buckner will be gone too and so will Ramsey to the Jags. That's 3 players plus TReadwell to Dallas and Wentz to Cleve and Tunsil @ # 2. Like Bosa dnd Buckner, Jack can play in the box or OLB. I'd rather have Jack than Hargreaves, that's for sure but even DeCosta said he's excited about who will be there for us. Several of the top impact players will be there to choose from that can turn us around next year. I like Jack. Cool last name too. http://www.rotoworld.com/player/cfb/132754/myles-jack
  13. Don't worry on missing Buckner. SD will probably draft him. Bosa will now go #1 after his 40 times and Ramsey to the Jags @ #5. That still leaves us with Myles Jack, Hargreaves and Stanley if KO leaves.
  14. Now it looks like Bosa is back to the first player picked according to Gil Brandt. Bosa had a good 4.7 and 4.8 times. http://www.cleveland.com/osu/index.ssf/2016/02/nfl_combine_2016_did_joey_bosa.html
  15. LOL - Good one. JAGs are going to draft Ramsey. At this point I'd take Buckner over Bosa but Mel has him going to above us. Myles Jack might be better than Bosa. He's projected to go in the high first. Kiper has him going over us to SD. Buckner's 40 time at the combines was 5.05 but it's not so much speed that counts in pass rushers line it is with RBs and WRs. Quickness is The key to Suggs success is his first step like explained above. That's not speed but quickness so Buckner probably has that first step to be considered that high, especially with 5.05 speed.
  16. Maybe true but These guys are all great trash talkers including Suggs-lol. IM A FOOTBALL STAR, NOT A TRACK STAR. T. SUGGS He fell in draft because of poor 40 time. In fact, when Phil Savage saw it, he phones Ozzie and said Suggs just fell to us. These great scouts and GMs don't know that it's not the speed that counts in Suggs case. It's his first step quickness. He's past his blocker in just 1 step. All the top rushers have it. You can't teach it.
  17. Great posts guys. Thanks. Hey T - I posted a link that said teams are hedging on Bosa in top 10, and he already dropped on most mocks from #1 to #6 player chosen. One team that drafts well said they have him in the 2d round on their board. Looks like you're right again. I also don't like his mouth. He said he's the best pass rusher in the draft. Yea, we'll see.
  18. LOL, he's got a mouth and says he's the best cover guy in the draft class-lol. Talk about trash, he trashes two guys who could go in first round and one who is a top 5 pick - Treadwell. He said Treadwell is too slow according to his new time but he did praise his physicality. Fuller is another top receiver who go could in lower first round and said I wouldn't say he sucks but he's not that good. Man, I'd like to be there when he meets SR in his first practice. Let's just see if Alexander even makes the field nursing his pussy injury. http://www.rotoworld.com/recent/cfb/132598/mackensie-alexander
  19. They might be if they draft Bosa in the 1st round and if he's there in the 2d. He's a pretty good corner and is rising up the boards and is the darling of the media for interviews. See CSN link. It would be interesting listening to his trash talk on game day along with SR and Jimmy Smith. But can he shut down AJ Green. http://www.csnmidatlantic.com/blog/ravens-talk/trash-talking-cb-alexander-could-be-ravens-targetD
  20. SCOUT says he's is rising up the board and could be a 1st or 2d round pick. They call him one of the best receivers in the country albeit TCU had an easy schedule. Not much on speed but good hands but uses the body like Torrey Smith. Says he'd be a good fit for Ravens. I guess I could see him between Perriman and SR but I like Will Fuller better with his speed. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000553143/article/scout-tcus-josh-doctson-could-be-1st-or-2ndround-pick
  21. NFL.COM is also saying Doctson has probs with breaking out of pass routes but should be able to play in pros. They list him @ 6'3 185 lbs. Will the real Docton please stand up? http://www.nfl.com/draft/2016/profiles/josh-doctson?id=2555343
  22. I like the sound of Fuller. Not sure he'll be there in 2d round but I was thinking Torrey Smith too. He also had an inexperienced QB. Will Fuller*, WR, Notre Dame Height: 6-0. Weight: 184. Projected 40 Time: 4.45. Projected Round (2016): 1-2. 2/6/16: Fuller was a play-maker for the Fighting Irish and could be the most lethal deep-threat receiver in this draft class. He has shown the speed to be a vertical weapon and get separation deep downfield. Fuller had 62 catches for 1,258 yards and 14 touchdowns on the year despite playing with an inexperienced quarterback. In 2014, he notched 76 receptions for 1,094 yards and 15 touchdowns. 23. Great, we lose Nicky for 10 games and perhaps forever and now Gilmore might miss the first month with a lingering shoulder injury. Ravens have signed 2 TEs back on 8 Dec when Nick went on suspension. Gordon was a TE in Denver and knows Kube's system which was used here last year. Konrad Reuland has been on and off Ravens practice squad for last couple of years.
  24. He's not in Central Florida, he's on south beach in Fat Mac's party bus.
  25. LOL - Doctson is injured before he even gets here. With all the agony over Perriman his first year, let someone else have the worries with Doctson. RotoWorld listes him as 6'4, 190 and mainly as a jump ball possession type receiver with no much speed as his 5.4 time suggests. This link makes him a good fit for Minn, KC, NE and Cinci in the 2d round. Scouts are concerned about his ability to learn the intracacies of the pro game when to break and making key and the hot reads and sight adjustments. He would be a threat in the red zone and deep side line plays with his jumping ability. However, He hurt his wrist during the 4th game and is still nursing it as he missed the SR Bowl after being invited. http://www.rotoworld.com/recent/cfb/133847/josh-doctson
