It is ggod to see that the owner has faith in Fangio. I think we knew it was going to be Mattison. What is it that Ray said, "you want to become a head coach, come coach me." These coaches are not the same coaches, like I said back in training camp, these guys are very smart football wise. These aren't laptop guys. There is no need to have that big of a fire on the sidelines with a fire like that on the field. My wonder is how much trick there with his game? Will he use the 4-3 as base?

-- Ravens Expected to Promote Vince Newsome -- Mon Jan 26, 2009 --from FFMastermind.com The Baltimore Sun reports the Ravens are expected to promote Vince Newsome (no relation to GM Ozzie Newsome) to pro personnel director. Newsome has been the Ravens' assistant pro personnel director for six years. There is a possibility the Ravens could change the title of Eric DeCosta from director of college scouting to director of player personnel. The Ravens gave that designation to Savage in 2003.

and 200 years later! It still looks the same to me. A HC that really did come the Pats and a Ravens GM. Didn't work the first time why would work this time?

Dont we have a physical shut down CB already ?

I remember the guy. He didn't get to play in Baltimore. -
Could all just be words that his agent put in his mouth, might be a play not to tag him.

Beat one of them punk Raider fans in the face? The Cards were a good team at one time. When Don Coryell was HC they won the East twice. A few HC came out of there then. Bill Walsh was an OC, I think Sam Wyche was a player then.

Would you switch for Matt Cassel? Cravn, they call me flash for a reason!

All of these kids around here! There may have been a few that wanted Bidwill, just wanted a team back but I think most fans, real fans didn't want anything to do with Bidwill Or Brown with the Cats. I think all Brown did was use us, along with a few others that started talking about a move at that time. I know a guy down the street from at the time had one of the shirts, telling me they were coming. Then when it didn't happen he said the shirt would worth a lot of money! I have an old blue shirt from 77, that is 1977 for the kids, printed in big letters, "Super Bowl Haven In 77." Oakland Raiders 37, Baltimore Colts 31 (2OT). My worse Christmas ever!

-- Mike Shanahan Definitely Out of Coaching for 2009 -- Sat Jan 24, 2009 --from FFMastermind.com SI.com's Peter King reports deposed Denver HC Mike Shanahan will "definitely" not coach the Kansas City Chiefs in 2009 -- nor will he take a coaching job anywhere prior to the 2009 season, an NFL source close to Shanahan said late Friday night. The source said Shanahan was adamant that he was not coaching the Chiefs. This confirms the NFL Network report by Adam Schefter from Friday evening that Shanahan would not take the Kansas City job, which was a response to an ESPN report that Shanahan and the Chiefs were in talks that could have had him replacing HC Herman Edwards, who was fired by new GM Scott Pioli Friday.

If you are looking for a bone-head play that changed the game it would have to be Stone. Can't blame it Joe. No he didn't have a good game but as pointed out, the WRs did not help him at all. Ben did a great job of getting free a few time from what looked to be sure sacks but it was the WRS and TE that helped him out. As pointed out the Holmes play. Then there was the TE Miller making something happen when Ben looked dead. Ben did a good job getting out of there but the WR & TE getting open so Ben could see them did a even better job.

A rookie coach & QB, you LT retires, a FB carries the ball due to the fact that your starting RB isn't healthy. How many players on IR? And that team went to the AFC Championship Game!
-
I would love to play on the ST. So if you get the job look me up.

Come on max, let us have our fun!

When Greg Mattison takes over do you think he will change to 4/3? That could change on who stays around. And P.J. Daniels is on that list, the forgotten back. We are loaded there! Speaking about RBs what a great job Wilbert Montgomery did.

Was reading tat the other day, guess we didn't think about after the season we had. This really must be a dream come true for the guy in many ways. And you know who is coaching the other side? He should really enjoy this!

Done in KC. Gunther Cunningham is gone and sounds like Chan Gailey is headed to the Bucs. Edwards isn't even doing team things, like going to the Senior Bowl.

http://www.phillyburbs.com/news/news_detai...-with-jets.html Sorry, for got this: Pettine, a 1984 West grad and former William Tennent and North Penn head coach, had spent the last seven seasons with Ryan as part of the Baltimore Ravens organization. Ryan, who became defensive coordinator in Baltimore in 2005, promoted Pettine to outside linebackers coach that same season. Pettine reportedly will be the only coach on Baltimore's staff that Ryan takes with him to the Jets.

http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/28754213/ The newspaper reports the Cowboys could be willing to give Lewis a three-year deal worth between $27 million and $30 million, with $25 million guaranteed.

You guys stayed up all night waiting to put that one out there! We had a rock star in the house before. The guy was so much a rock star he was getting getting head from his groupies in the house! I think we are in to deep for the new guy to do to much or anything to help at this time. As long as he doesn't do anything to screw it up any more, he should get another chance at it.
-
Beside if they were to go out of the house, and they will not, there are better guys out of the house that would be better.
-
Don't be to hard on the guy. Didn't we let the Super Bowl Winning QB go? He wasn't good enough!
-
How many player/coaches have there been?
-
You should get a set with the guy behind me. He knows just what they should have run after the play is over!

We already have our DC.
