  1. No, I used hence correctly. I could have used therefore and it would still have qualified my statement. Stop trying to use language technicalities to gloss over the fact you were wrong.
  2. So what you are saying is I should have said the previous 2 carries before the fumble were for 0 and 2 and not the last 2 carries before the fumble were for 0 and 2. Weak sauce. Your are still wrong about the Pats running game no matter what language technicality you want to call me on.
  3. I'm sorry but I never said anywhere in this thread the 8 yard didn't count and I just re-read it to make sure.
  4. The 8 yards is included in his 70 yards you lunatic. I clearly stated the 2 carries before the fumble. The fumble occured on the 8 yard run. How hard is that to comprehend. Once again,
  5. Sorry Papa, you will need to direct that question to whomever creates the yahoo play by play: http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/boxscore?gid=20130120017&page=plays
  6. His magic 8 ball told him so it must be right;
  7. His 8 yard carry was the carry that he fumbled on, hence the last 2 carries before the fumble were for 0 and 2. Next question?
  8. Again nonsense. His last 2 carries before the fumble were for zero and 2 yard gains. When they showed run and tried to run this was the normal gain. When they were in passing formations and the Ravens had 5+ DBs on the field is when they picked up their yards on the ground.
  9. Papa, here is the play by play involving Ridley: 1st-10, NE20 15:00 S. Ridley rushed to the right for 5 yard gain1st-10, NE34 14:17 S. Ridley rushed to the left for 3 yard gain2nd-7, NE37 13:40 S. Ridley rushed to the left for 5 yard gain2nd-2, NE29 11:00 S. Ridley rushed to the right for 3 yard gain1st-10, BAL37 8:33 S. Ridley rushed to the left for 1 yard gain1st-10, BAL20 7:48 S. Ridley rushed to the right for 2 yard gain3rd-2, BAL12 6:59 S. Ridley rushed to the right for no gain 2nd Quarter1st-10, NE21 9:22 S. Ridley rushed to the right for 3 yard gain. Baltimore committed 15 yard penalty1st-10, NE49 8:01 S. Ridley rushed up the middle for 7 yard gain2nd-3, BAL44 7:37 S. Ridley rushed up the middle for 4 yard gain1st-10, BAL16 6:29 S. Ridley rushed to the right for 8 yard gain2nd-1, BAL1 5:09 S. Ridley rushed up the middle for no gain1st-10, BAL43 2:32 S. Ridley rushed to the left for 5 yard gain 3rd Quarter2nd-4, NE15 12:14 S. Ridley rushed to the left for 5 yard gain4th Quarter 1st-10, NE16 14:49 S. Ridley rushed up the middle for 9 yard gain2nd-1, NE25 14:18 S. Ridley rushed to the left for no gain3rd-1, NE25 13:45 S. Ridley rushed to the left for 2 yard gain1st-10, NE39 12:46 S. Ridley rushed to the right for 8 yard gain. S. Ridley fumbled. A. Jones recovered fumbleRidley rushed 18 times for 70yards. A 3.9 yard per rush average. Please note that the Ravens were mostly in the nickel and very rarely in base personnel which would be more adept at stopping the run. To that end the Ravens only allowed 3.9yards per carry while defending the pass. When he was asked to pick up yards in the redzone he did sweet f' all apart from an 8 yard run on 1st down inside the 10. Maybe I need to take my head out of the sand but you need to take yours out of your ass [/pwned]
  10. Nonsense. I can't remember how many times Brady passed for 8 yards on 1st down and the Pats failed to pick up the 1st with a 2nd down run and that was happening in the 1st quarter not just the 3rd and 4th.
  11. We gave up 428 yards to the Pats but it really didn't feel like it. Perhaps this is the modern version of a shut down D. Let offenses move the ball between the 20s but clamp down on the run and short passes inside the 20 when there isn't as much room to worry about passes over the top.
  12. He has talked about retirement before. He has been dealing with neck/shoulder injuries for a few years. He is in the final year of his contract. He is 34 and will be 35 in Week 1 of the 2013 season. He is finally playing in his 1st Superbowl. It's being hosted by New Orleans his hometown. What better way to go out than with a Superbowl victory in your home city with nothing left to prove after a HOF career.
  13. Do you know what time it was in the game Dee? I will have a go later as I have Game Pass and can screen shot it from the pc.
  14. To be fair, every board needs a Papa. We would miss him if he was gone.
  15. I'm not saying the hit on Ridley was illegal, but how can that not be a flag yet if you brush the QBs helmet with your finger it's a flag.
  16. Is Papa going to admit to being wrong and burn that pic of the hotseat?
  17. I have to commend Caldwell and the adjustments he made to his play calling when it was obvious the running game wasn't working with Ray. He spread them out and/or started using Pierce more. If that was Cam calling the plays we would still be 13-7 down right now.
  18. Wow. Joe is hot right now and Boldin looks like a man who won't be denied.
  19. What a hit. I hope Ridley is ok. It didn't look good for him.
  20. How was that hit any different to what the Ravens were doing. F'in suck it Cheatriots.
  21. LMAO, Matty Choke Job throws it away again.
  22. I Knew I could count on you Crav.
