  1. I was expecting to see the murder weapon on display somewhere in this thread.
  2. With the salary cap being so tight this is a good year to get an extra 3 or 4 picks in the draft to fill holes cheaply. I think we are projected to get a 4th, 5th and a 6th from the loss of Grubbs, JJ and Redding. And you know that Ozzie will move around to get extra picks if he thinks he needs them. Lets continue to sign our guys that we want back and build through the draft.
  3. A new craze has begun in honor of Manti Te'o LMAO these are great. Do we still want to draft him if he falls to pick 32?
  4. They did have the space until someone failed to graduate on time meaning 1 of the 7 early enrollees had to defer to the fall. They asked Fitts to defer as he was at the position of least need. If USC hadn't been levelled with such over the top sanctions then they would have been able to take Fitts and a number of other players they really want.
  5. I really feel for Fitts and his family. I'm sure he worked really hard to be an early enrollee but the sanctions meant USC didn't have any room for him after taking the other early enrollees. It's a case of the NCAAs bullshit sanctions really hurting this team. I'm hoping McNair's court case against the NCAA will force them to remove the sanctions and cause some serious change but the NCAA will worm out of it somehow.
  6. Pops, I think you can burn that pic in your sig now.
  7. He is interviewing with the Jets: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000126299/article/report-new-york-jets-will-interview-cam-cameron As much as we hated Cam in the end I have to give him some credit for at least making our O respectable. His first couple of seasons here he was really inventive with the personnel we had. Maybe he can save Sanchise and turn that Jets O around.
  8. I will be rooting for San Fran in the NFC so that if we lose I can watch the Superbowl in hope that the Cheatriots still can't win the big one after being caught cheating. I can't stand the Falcons either but that is more to do with how Matt Ryan is perceived as being such a great QB yet he chokes in the playoffs and was doing it again against the Seahawks and in the end got away with one. A Harbowl sure would be a tasty encounter if we can get past the Pats.
  9. Exactly this. He wasn't ready to play so didn't play.
  10. One thing they didn't lose.....Manning's choke tag in the playoffs.
  11. The way they were calling the game up to this point I was thinking the same thing so I was shocked they let it stand as called. Now lets go win the game O.
  12. Of McCoy's offense b4 Manning. It sucked hence I can't see why he is such a hot HC candidate. Cam's offense had better numbers and we fired him not promoted him to HC.
  13. Ok here are the stats: 217 of 426 (50.94%) Passing for 2708 Yards at 6.35 yards per attempt and 20 TDs and 13 INTs. 546 rush attempts for 2632 yards at 4.82 yards per rush and 11 TDs. Not bad rushing numbers but an offense that averages less than 2 TDs per game isn't what I would call a little more than just screw up.
  14. The Broncos D led them to the playoffs. The O just didn't screw up.
  15. No and the Broncos sucked on O with whomever was under center hence I don't get what the love of McCoy is all about. I will give you one thing though, he is able to get his teams to run the ball but then so did Hue Jackson and look where he is now.
  16. They should never have fired Shurmur. He was actually doing a pretty good job and they stayed competitive the whole year which is a quantum leap forward for the Browns. With another good draft they might have been in position for .500 season.
  17. The grass is always greener with you Papa. I don't see what the big deal is with McCoy either. Manning makes OCs look good.
  18. Yeah I teared up a bit when I saw Ray do the dance and Harbs and Chuck had a very emotional hug at the end as well. What a year it has been. We lost Art, in a way we are losing Ray, Chuck has been sick. If we win a Superbowl, I might have to check into a psyche ward for a couple of weeks just to get some emotional balance back.
  19. There was no Suggs on the other side so teams doubled Ngata and Kruger and no one else stepped up. Now Suggs is back teams can't double all 3 and Kruger has been seeing a lot more 1 on 1 match ups and is killing it. He has a great swim move and now seems to be adding a little bit of agility to his other moves. At 1 point Castanzo didn't know whether Kruger was going inside or outside and for an O-Lineman that is going to get you abused all day long.
  20. I actually got a little something in my eye when Ray did 1 final dance at the end of the game and seeing Harbaugh's embrace with Chuck nearly had me crying my eyes out.
  21. It was also a masterstroke announcing his retirement before the playoffs. Now you are going to get everything out of every player on the roster trying to get Ray another ring. Who would want to let this man down on his final battle?
  22. This really will be the end of an era now. There is nothing left from the 2000 D.
  23. I lost faith in Peas after he had a 3 man line inside our 5 yard line that allowed the Redskins rookie QB to waltz into the endzone on a draw (it wasn't RGIII either!). However, I think we have to give him another season with a healthy Suggs. The D has done ok with some of the scrubs we have had to play on the D-Line and secondary not to mention the LB core has been decimated but is still doing well.
