cravnravn Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 Former Baltimore Ravens safety Bernard Pollard says he's not sour about getting released by the Super Bowl champions. Well, I would hate to see him when he was holding a grudge. Pollard told 105.7 The Fan in Baltimore that he isn't going to attend the Ravens' ring ceremony and White House visit next month because he's on a family vacation. "I got to sit this one out, man," said Pollard, who has since signed with theTennessee Titans. "If I didn’t have a vacation, I wouldn’t come in anyway. That's just the type of player I am.” Why is Pollard so against coming back to celebrate? "At the end of the day, I know what happened, I know what took place," Pollard said. "I’m sorry, I just don’t want to be in the room with certain people.” http://espn.go.com/blog/afcnorth/post/_/id/70354/pollard-not-attending-ravens-festivities
Robjr83 Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 Who do you think the ''certain people" are? Oz and Steve? Sounds like BP's already putting his ring on Ebay.
papasmurfbell Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 Certain people are, Harbs and only HarbsTotally agree.
thesteelhurtin Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 What a dbag you try to over throw the coach what the hell did you think was going to happen.
cravnravn Posted May 16, 2013 Author Posted May 16, 2013 Yea and the other one is in Houston recovering from hip surgery
vmax Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 "You know what they say..."Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned!"
OutsideRzAcE Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 Once again, for Harbs to say this was a salary cap casualty is an insult to the intelligence of the fan. Clearly this was driven by his insubordinate actions in the past year.

deeshopper Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 Well, think of this way. Cap cuts needed to happen one way or another. In looking at the defense, and all things being equal between two players that are on the chopping block, do you pick the one that is disruptive or the one that is the model citizen? I can't entirely believe that the sole reason Pollard was cut was being he was insubordinate (which, in the corporate world is a fireable offense anyway), but a migating factor.
