Guest BallTMore Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 Really? Seems we have a better shot at the playoffs (haha) if Cincinnati wins. I can't see us winning the division now. No chance. I can't cheer for Pittsburgh. F them. Quote
ForceEight Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 BallT is right. We have to pull for the Bengals, and then hope we can sweep Pittsburgh. If the rest of the schedule falls into place, we should be in wild card position. Quote
thundercleetz Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 Yep, we have to root for the Bengals in this one. But that is nothing different than what we are used to doing. Rule #1: Always root against the Steelers. Quote
vmax Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 The Ravens have no shot at winning the division...pull for a tie. Quote

cravnravn Posted November 14, 2009 Author Posted November 14, 2009 PLAYOFFS?? Come on, why would you want to subject yourselves to that embarassment? Good QB's SHRED this D..Rivers, Brady,Farve, Manning next week, and 2x vs Rothelsberger still yet to come..All those mentioned will be in the playoffs.. Quote
OutsideRzAcE Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 yea I'm with everyone else - I'm rooting for Cinci. Bengals have a realtively easy schedule the rest of the way and there is no way we will overtake them. That aside, I love to see the Steelers lose - it's my second favorite result after a Ravens win. thundercleetz Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 How is this game not nationally televised? CBS down here in New Orleans is broadcasting infomercials and the second game they are broadcasting the Chiefs/Raiders game!!! Who is going to watch that!? Quote

CBS down here in New Orleans is broadcasting infomercials and the second game they are broadcasting the Chiefs/Raiders game!!! Who is going to watch that!? That's bizarre - Nance and Simms are doing it so I figured it would be nationally televised. Polamalu is out with a reaggrevation of his sprained knee. Benson has a strained hip but is playing through it so far. Bengals haven't been getting shit going on offense. Quote
vmax Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 I liked Reeds pretend tackle on the Kick off TD. Quote
OutsideRzAcE Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Benson is not coming back. The Bengals have no offense going whatsover. The Steelers will win this Quote

Guest BallTMore Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Nice! Can't stand Pittsburgh! Congrats Cincy fans, you're going to the playoffs. Quote
thundercleetz Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Congrats BengalBilly and Jungletiger, I did not think you guys would beat Pittsburgh at all, I will gladly eat my words. Your defense is legit. You shut us down, you shut Pittsburgh down. For us Ravens fans, our playoff hopes come down to our two games with Pittsburgh. We are still very much alive, the Bengals swept both us and the Steelers. Its fair game from here on out. Quote
Jungletiger Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Im just glad that all we need to worry about now is winning out the rest of the sched, and theres still the slim chance to catch Indy. Quote
83eh01 Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 As frustrating as the season is, when the Steelers get beat, it's all good. Think KC can beat them next week?... lol nah Quote
BengalBilly Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Great to see the Steelers lose! It always lends itself to a feel good day!Think KC can beat them next week?... lol nahUh, no. Quote
vmax Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 That special teams lapse was the difference in the game. It was a defensive game all the way with both offenses unable to score in thne redzone.Steeler fans can cry in their towels. Quote
