Tornado700
Yes, they played bad football, especially our 1st string offense. The defense was sub par also. Now is the time to iron out the kinks and I am confident that Coach harbaugh will get that job done.No need to panic.

Just seen the Torrey TD, nothing special about that play, just a simple slant, his speed did the rest.
vmax
The Ravens are one hamstring injury to Tory Smith away from having no receivers for Joe to throw to. It looked like the team had "no legs"....they were running on flat tires.I've seen enough of Shipley. Jimmy Smith was lost. There were no running lanes. The secondary missed assignment after assignment. Huff was out of position time and time again. Brandon Williams impressed me. Hamilton has speed but he can't tackle. Mellette is a gamer. LaQuan tried too hard to make plays so he made mistakes. Real....real sloppy football. The best part of the game was the Pee Wee scrimmage at half time. OH...I got chills when they introduced the Ravens and for the first time Ray Lewis didn't come out of the tunnel. It's as new era but we yelled "Joe!" when he was the last player to be introduced. It felt right. And...I'm not in game shape. I lost my voice right away. Just the yelling when they came out of the tunnel killed it. Now I have to yell at the kids all weekend to develop it. Money
The last 5 Super Bowl winners and 46/60 playoff teams (since '08) have won 2+ preseason games. Which teams win preseason games? The deepest ones. There's a 53-man roster for a reason and the Ravens' depth truly is unparalleled in the league.
Robjr83
Just a couple observations about yesterday: 1) Offense is missing a key person... Yanda2) Defense is missing a key person... Webb3) Shank is a waste at TE4) Mellette deserves to be bumped up a few spots on the depth chart5) DSmith was a great pickup6) Tackling fundamentals seem to be lacking7) Jones scares me at #2 WR
Money
Jones, quite simply, never has been and never will be a #2. It's that simple. I would like to see Mellette run with the 1's next week.

oldno82
The offense is sluggish and mistake prone. Jones is not a #2. We need to try some other guys with the first team. Maybe Stokely can add something. Agree Shiancoe has not shown anything so far except negatives. Hell, Bajema plays better than him. Maybe Clark can add something. But when you're talking counting on 34 and 37 year olds, you're in trouble. The defense comes and goes. Jimmy Smith covers well but doesn't have a clue that he has to play the ball by LOOKING for it too. Webb will help here if he's fully recovered.Daryl Smith is a keeper. Dumerville looked good. Safety play needs a lot of work. They have just 3 weeks to get this all sorted.
vmax
The Ravens did not look good in the last 2 pre seasons yet opening day they lite up the Steelers and Bengals.
