Tornado700 Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 And Luck loves to throw the ball downfield. Our secondary is going to have to have a solid game, while our offense must continue where we left off. This will be our second toughest match up. Quote
Tornado700 Posted September 29, 2014 Author Posted September 29, 2014 Just checked the odds. Indy favored by 3 to 3 1/2. About right. Quote
oldno82 Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 It's early in the week, yet, but I'm beginning to believe our offense won't have enough success to overcome our woeful secondary. Our secondary turned out to be our Achilles heel. Back during the summer I thought it was our O-line and that our secondary was solid. Definitely wrong on that score. Quote
vmax Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 34 points a game is about right when you play the defenses of Philly, Jacksonville and Tenneessee. 1 Quote
cravnravn Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 Colts are what 2-2? Don't scare me one bit. They have no d to speak of, we pressure luck he won't have time to go down field. Quote
cravnravn Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 Oh and by the way, the Colts have Shipley starting at center, yea that shipley Quote
GrubberRaven Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 They have no real run game...Shipley's natural position is C. Quote
cravnravn Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 They have no real run game...Shipley's natural position is C.Didn't Indy release him last year, we grabbed him, then Indy goes dumpster diving this year when they lost their center and backup in camp? Quote
GrubberRaven Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 He started for them the prior year, and then he was released. I think he played well for them when his number was called. They beat the snot out of piss poor teams and barely lost to good teams. Quote
vmax Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 Williams and Ngata will eat Shipley alive. Their secondary just got weaker.... INDIANAPOLIS -- Sergio Brown's NFL resume consists of three starts in 59 games and a lot of special teams tackles and pinned punts during his five-year career. Now, thanks to LaRon Landry's four-game suspension, Brown will be starting alongside veteran Mike Adams at safety against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday."It's an opportunity for me to prove I can play in the NFL at any position on defense or special teams," Brown said. "I can go out there and put my best foot forward."There's every reason to be leery about Brown starting when you take into account that the Indianapolis Colts felt the need to go out and sign Adams during their three-day mandatory minicamp in June to compete with Brown, Colt Anderson and Delano Howell for the starting job vacated by the departure of Antoine Bethea, who was named NFC Defensive Player of the Week on Wednesday.http://espn.go.com/blog/indianapolis-colts/post/_/id/8019/colts-going-with-the-inexperienced-sergio-brown-at-safety Quote
