vmax
On his first TD he just wanted to make the play more than the DE who was in good position. He's a Raven!!! Stock watch: Rising: Forsett in the red zone. The veteran journeyman scored the Ravens' first two touchdowns (of 9 and 11 yards). It was his first multitouchdown game since November 2009. He finished with 112 yards rushing on 20 carries. http://espn.go.com/blog/baltimore-ravens/post/_/id/15216/rapid-reaction-baltimore-ravens-22 5.6 ypc. It was good to see the Ravens run the ball in the red zone and get 2 rushing TD's.And...Pierce got his first 10 yard run of the year!151 yards rushing for the day with 4.4 ypc. And...quietly, it is now 20 games since the Ravens D has allowed a 100 yard rusher.
papasmurfbell
I think the Ravens have string together 4 streaks of 20+ games holding guys to under 100 yds in their history. I would love to know if any team over an 18 yrs run has done the same.
varaven45
Max, it was great to see such a potent run offense on display. It was a thing of beauty. Not sure where it has been the previous 2 games but glad they committed to it today.
papasmurfbell
You have to actually call run plays.

Nice to see Kubiak stuck with it today even though it was going nowhere for most of the 1st half.27 passes...34 rushes. The winning formula. RavenMad
And to think we all looked at Forsett as a guy who was brought in to basically help the other RBs learn Kubiak's system fill in while Rice was suspended and then likely be cut upon Rice's return. What a couple of months it has been for this guy. I like his attitude as well. He recently said that every carry he gets is an opportunity he didn't think he was going to get and that he tries to make the most out of every touch. At 29 I guess every touch could be his last but with so little miles on the clock he can probably go another 3+ years.

varaven45
Crav, Exactly. Even though Brees is having an off year (by his standards), gotta keep it out of his hands.Lots of the 3 headed monster - Forset, Talie, Pierce - in the offing. OneManCypher
The less Joe has to pass the better
TBird
Ravens would have another win or two like in Indy when they stopped running the ball and were getting 9 yds pr carry. Pissesme off every time. Also, yesterday, the Ravens ran out the clock in 2d half running the ball. Joe got clobbered in the first half but line settleddown in 2d half and did some great blocking for RBs. Pierce and Taliaferro too.
