Stock watch: Rising: Forsett in the red zone. The veteran journeyman scored the Ravens' first two touchdowns (of 9 and 11 yards). It was his first multitouchdown game since November 2009. It was good to see the Ravens run the ball in the red zone and get 2 rushing TD's.And...Pierce got his first 10 yard run of the year!151 yards rushing for the day with 4.4 ypc. And...quietly, it is now 20 games since the Ravens D has allowed a 100 yard rusher.

Nice to see Kubiak stuck with it today even though it was going nowhere for most of the 1st half.27 passes...34 rushes. The winning formula.
RavenMad Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 And to think we all looked at Forsett as a guy who was brought in to basically help the other RBs learn Kubiak's system fill in while Rice was suspended and then likely be cut upon Rice's return. What a couple of months it has been for this guy. I like his attitude as well. He recently said that every carry he gets is an opportunity he didn't think he was going to get and that he tries to make the most out of every touch. At 29 I guess every touch could be his last but with so little miles on the clock he can probably go another 3+ years.

TBird Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Ravens would have another win or two like in Indy when they stopped running the ball and were getting 9 yds pr carry. Pissesme off every time. Also, yesterday, the Ravens ran out the clock in 2d half running the ball. Joe got clobbered in the first half but line settleddown in 2d half and did some great blocking for RBs. Pierce and Taliaferro too.
