Tornado700
I know. I know. He will be gone by 26. But knowing that we need a solid DB and wide out, would you give that up for Gordon, if still there? I'd have to say yes. Forsett is now showing interest from other teams and RB is a key position for any offense, especially a good one. The run sets everything else up. What say you my Raven bretheran? RavenMad
No RBs before the 4th unless we have a 3rd round compensatory pick. I'm not sure that any RBs go in the 1st round this year.

thundercleetz
Pass as well. You get terrible value drafting a RB in the first round no matter how good he is.

TBird
Put me in the Gibson camp in the first round. He probably wontbe there but could drop with all the pass rushers that will bedrafted in the top half of the round. Someone could drop ormaybe two guys like Maxx Williams, TE from Minn and MelGordon. He knows the zbs well and can accelerate and stop in a splitsecond. Gurley is the best RB but has an ACL so he'll droptoo maybe way down but a team will have to wait a year forhim, so Gordon will be the best RB in the first round. Kiper likes him too although he has us drafting Maxx in his 2.0mock draft. Id be excited with either one. We don't know if Forsett is returning. Atlanta is going to make abig push for him. KId Shannahan runs the same WCO as hisfather and Kubes but Forsett should be weary because thatline isn't as good as our. Football outsiders rated our line #3 overallfor run blocking, #4 for pass blocking and #1 for running on theright side over Yanda and Wagner. Kubes might want Forsett in Denver. Ozzie wants him back butit won't be cheap. Gordon is the combination and better of Forsett and Taliaferro. BTW, Ravens drafted Jamal Lewis in first round for pretty good value. Gordon would be the first shot at a RB in round 1 since if he drops. I'd love Gordon or Maxx.
OneManCypher
If RB is the position , i'd take Gurley, i know the guy is coming off of an ACL but he is SPECIAL, power, speed , and can catch and return kicks.

OneManCypher
Maxx is too slow, we have Te's that are slow already, i know we probably won't sign a FA TE , but let's get a cap casualty TE with some athleticism, if Maxx is there in the 2nd, maybe, but to draft him in the 1st is a very bad pick. TBird
Maxx is the best TE on the board. Don't know about speedbut he's big has good hands and is a threat in the red zonewith his size and hands. He and Clive Walford of Miamiare the 2 best TEs in the draft and Ravens interviewedboth at the Combines. Of course they interviewed over 30 players there, morethan any other team at the Combines. Thing is, the team is set and secondary is better with Jimmyand Webbie returning. Ozzie can draft anyone he wants fordepth, just like last year and he'll get somebody good withthe ones that will drop.
varaven45
Agree on TE choices although maybe not until 2nd or 3rd. I don't know that Webb and Smith will both return and play at a high level. After last year's secondary play and both players penchant for injury and significant rehab time, the team must draft for both a CB starter (and long term solution) and backup for depth. Similarly, we need another safety either as a starter or future starter to replace or support Hill, depending on his fate. Our secondary has for years been our Achilles heel and, granted when healthy, is a decent unit. However, our pass happy league (and division) dictates a strong and deep secondary. TBird
Yea, you're right and I said Oz can still get someone back thereand probably will but Jimmy should be Ok after almost a year. Webbie is slower than before but he did better at theend. Oz will get more depth there maybe one of the Florida StateCBs like Ronald Darby or PJ Williams. Both should be therein the 2d round and Oz can get another blue chip TE or RBin the first. Doubt if the CB from Michigan State, Trae Waynes, will bethere but if Kevin Johnson from Wake Forest is you jump on him. Ifthe top guys are gone you go for the others in 2d round. Mike Preston thinks one of the top 4 will be there in 1st round. http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/bs-sp-preston-ravens-0210-20150209-column.html
TBird
Mel Gordon has a Baltimore connection but if he's notthere Raven could be interested in Yeldon in 2d round. http://www.baltimoreravens.com/videos/videos/Two-RBs-That-Make-Sense-For-Ravens/732a4ac1-3eea-40c3-9614-08cb82d2f114
