Have a glass of Purple Kool-Aid this morning...:)

"If we had our way, we'd like to lead the league in scoring and lead the league in ball security," Cameron said in a telephone interview with ESPN.com's AFC North blog. "I think being in the top five in that this year is realistic."

If Cameron's vision of an elite, high-scoring offense becomes a reality in Baltimore, the rest of the NFL has a major problem on its hands.

Few teams have the potential to be as stout on both sides of the football in 2010 as the Ravens.

Then they better quit screwing with Gaither and get him signed. The key to success is a solid O-Line.

They have him for this year. I actually believe Gaither. He said the foot thing is not a protest. I think he hurt his foot before camp and that's why he reported late to OTA's. Then it showed up in camp.

AFC North final say

James Walker: Unless another team is willing to give up something substantial -- and I'm thinking a first-round pick or a package close to it -- Baltimore wouldn't get equal value in a trade. Now that this year's draft is over, the Ravens are probably better off keeping Gaither for one more year and try making a run at the Super Bowl. A draft pick in 2011 is not going to help the Ravens contend this season. Who knows if Oniel Cousins or another backup in Baltimore is ready? Quality starting tackles are hard to come by. The Ravens are really fortunate to have two. But that luxury doesn't mean you just give one away because he's not satisfied with his contract.

I'm hearing Cousins has had a great off season. He's added more muscle and speed but no weight. He's working out at the complex right now even though players were given the week off. He smells his opportunity and is going for it.

This is an excellent O line.

I think the media is blowing this Gaither up way to much.

What I have seen in Gaither is that he is very young in lots of ways. Give this kid time to grow up and he will be a star. As Max, he is ours this season.

I am sure there is a plan for this season and next. Harewood may be part of that plan.

That's it. You're just a contrarian. You just like stirring the pot a little, and I can't blame you. No one with any semblance of an intelligent mind really believes that Ozzie is garbage and JaBustus Russell will ever play again, let alone "be a star".

You'll probably reply repeating those opinions. But it's okay. I know what you really think. ;)

That's not contrarian; that's stupidity. russell was a bad pick by a bad team and neither has shown shit for years. Gaither was a good (5th round) pick by a team with a good reputation for pulling and proving later-round talent, and Gaither has not been a world-beater but has certainly justified the pick and can still be a great lineman. there is no logical comparison between these two individuals, their teams or scenarios. there is only stupidity in attempting to compare.

I got it now. Papasmurfbell = Mike Preston.

It adds up. Illogical negativity towards Ozzie and Ravens organisation, check. Nonsense post about how good a player will be, check. All he needs to do is change his avatar to:

Whats wrong. I was only using ravinmaniac52's words. The same thing can be said. Both have million dollar bodies and ten cent brains.

QBs need a brain genius......OL....not nearly as much. They can't be total rocks...but see Orlando Brown. Proof that you don't need to be a genius to play OT in the NFL. There's a reason there's a stereotype for lineman.
