oldno82 Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 This off season is going to get real fn ugly, Joe's contract must be reworked. The H8trs will be in full force. You can bet the farm that they will. Quote

The H8trs will be in full force. ton of dead money finally off the books, two major free agent signings on the line, but then, Ozzie doesn't pay line men, right....... Joe's will be reowrked of this I am certain, so the team should have some decent cap space even if they eat some by cutting Webb, hey a guy can dream, right? Quote

Don't forget Joe can nix any offer, he does ha e a contract. Quote

Well, they've got too many holes to do it in one year with just the draft. Maybe even if they go big on free agents it won't be enough. Quote
TBird Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 TBird - I guess we might be the new clowns. TBird - I guess we might be the new clowns.Nah, far from it, just a bump in the road. We're still only4 plays from a perfect record losing all these games inthe last 3 mins and this one in OT. You can't stay on top forever. The oldBaltimore Colts didn't and the Ravens haven't. BTW, I told you the front 7 needed to pressure them but you said why ifthey are the clowns and I said so maybe we can win the game earlierand relax in the 4th qtr for a change. I missed the 1st half and turned the radio on in the 3rd QTR where SAnduskysaid Ravens are winning and control the game and Stan White said thatsbecause of the pressure they're putting on. They had 4 sacks in 1st half and should have had another but a Ravenspenalty wiped it out. Then Dooom goes out for the second half and so didthe pressure. And guess what - Clowns caught up at the end vs a beat up secondary thatstill took them to OT. We still beat them 28 of 33 games and it took a lot of help fromthe official that gave them a gift wrapped TD after ball hit the ground and the guy scooped it up that nobody called. The ass holewas standing behind the play and never saw the ball hit the ground.Nobody did but those of us watching on TV. As the most dominant team for the last 12 yrs this sideof NE with 2 SB trophies, 6 of 7 playoffs, some AFC anddivision trophies we're hardly the new clowns. But if you want to be a fair weather fan, than be my guest and call them names. I still wouldn't trade this franchise for any other one. And the Mistake by the lake Still owns the drive and the fumble. Quote
TBird Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 And think about this. Five starters left the game today and didn't return with injuries including Forsett, Dooomand Webb plus Waller and Will Davis. On top of that Steve Smith SRdidn't start and neither did Gilmore not to mention our #1 draft pick Perriman. After leading at half time despite a rare missed FG the Ravens controlled the gamewith a nice lead. Then the receivers were completely shut down in the second half. Injuries aren't an excuse to use but it's hardly clownish either as the guys that were lowon the depth chart weren't ready to contribute. It's part of the game and made itpossible for their QB to look like Unitas. And even with all those missing starters it took the Clowns to the end of the game to tie it upand then win it in OT vs a battered team. We lost all our games within the last 3 mins. You can hardly call a battered team like that the Clowns but be my guest. http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/bs-sp-ravens-browns-sidebar-1012-20151011-story.html Quote

Bottom line is our starting 11 on defense is really not that good, then you add in that we have zero depth when the starting 11 comes out and you have a recipe for what we are witnessing, a disaster on defense. varaven45 Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Yep, Crav, the off-season wont get here soon enough. Quote
TBird Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Just stop watching if you can't take it. With the easy part of theschedule coming up we'll be winning a few games. Bad starters on Defense? Ravens were 6th in sacks going into the game yesterday and added4 more in 1st half and had a 5th one wiped out by a Ravens penalty. Somebodys doing something right. Quote
cravnravn Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 (edited) The defense has blown 4 games so far, what more do you want, they could be #1 in sacks, and 32 vs the pass Edited October 12, 2015 by cravnravn Quote

varaven45 Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Uh, what about Jax ? Wait, they have Blake Bortles. Never mind Quote
Tornado700 Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 They lost to Cleveland at home. We are 0=2 at the Bank, Sorry, but this ain't the Ravens we're accustomed to. If, just if, they kick it into high gear, which I don't think they are capable of, they could finish at 8-8. Personally, i think we are a 5-11 football team. That should get them the 9th pick, 41st pick, 73rd pick. See where I'm going with this? Now this, I like. Quote
