oldno82 Posted February 9, 2016 Posted February 9, 2016 I don't know Papa. I keep writing about coaching and you're talking quarterbacks. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 I am calling it as he could have replaced that cog with any cog and got very similar results. Peyton was not special anymore. So Kubes has to make hos offense easier to fit the skills that still exist in Peyton. Quote
oldno82 Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 Kubiak had to make his offense simpler for Peyton...That's what I've been saying. That's good coaching. Gee, I guess we'll have to agree to agree! Good night. Quote
oldno82 Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 He made it simpler for Joe too. He did and it worked well for Joe. He concentrated mainly on getting the ball out quickly along with some roll outs and bootlegs. That and the Castillo zone blocking scheme gave us our franchise record-breaking offense. Oh, and no major injuries on offense! Quote
TBird Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 Not only Joe but Kubes made the entire zone blocking scheme simpler. Castillo has one ofthe toughest and best to learn turning out all those great linemen in Philly all those yearsbut Yanda was about the only guy who could learn it. Oher, Gino and Shipley were toostupid. So Kubes came to down with a dumb down version of the West Coast Offense and a dumbdown version of the zone blocking scheme and it worked. Man, I was shitting when he left. HARBs said the only ones that are upset about Kubes leavingare the fans. The organization is happy for him to get this shot and it makes us look good. Very true but the fans sure were pissed he went to Denver and Elway. Quote
oldno82 Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 Well, I sure was bummed when he left. Quote

Peyton is a nothing now and the rest of that team is all world. Quote

I think it's long over if Brock plays. Even as poorly as Carolina's offense played; I am not sure Denver wins without their defense scoring. Plus, how could you not play a guy named Brock? Quote
papasmurfbell Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 Just as long as he doesn't have this on his chest. Quote
thundercleetz Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 Lol! Or this! http://brobible.com/sports/article/brock-lesnar-new-tattoo-tramp-stamp/ Quote
papasmurfbell Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 At least his back piece looks good. That chest piece is so crappy. Quote
TBird Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 Or the tatt over my gal's, um, vagina. Now that's sick. LOL Quote
