Or front office moves. The play calling sucks, offense, defense, special teams. The players drafted or signed via free agency, not working out. Wrong routes, blown coverage, can't cover, can't get open, drop passes. Poor vision, not anticipation, inaccurate passes.

The line can't block, not one of them, not even Stanley and don't give me any of that PFF score crap. I see with my eyes not with game stats. They all suck.

The only good part of this team is the defensive line. Linebackers suck, don't give me Mosely is good crap, he makes one a game and everyone thinks be ks great. He runs around blocks, has terrible instincts, no power, no speed, even his quickness seems to be gone. Did I mention he can't cover?

All of this is on the coaching staff that either can't teach, or can't properly use the talent.

All of this is on the front office that still has its collective head stuck in the past; defense does not win championships without some type of offense... Not in today's NFL.

T- if they have another non playoff season, which they will, I think the owner is going to pull the plug on Ozzie and Harbs. I'm going to guess that they also draft a QB within the first couple rounds. This is a necessary move.

I don't think the front office went for making the defense a great one in the draft. It's just that Ozzie always drafts the highest rated player on his board. He's become a slave to it and the Ravens have proven repeatedly they can't draft a really good offense. Oz passed on a number of really good offensive players in the draft because, in his mind, they weren't the BPA.

Couple this with an unbelievable string of injuries to the offensive line and tight ends with an average, or now, below-average, aging quarterback and the offense is a disaster. No OL means lots of pressure on Joe and he's not handling it. The running game exists only on how far Collins' effort takes them with his penchant for fumbling.

I've been reluctant to say this but it looks like the front office and the bloated coaching staff both have to go. They aren't getting the job done even taking into account all the injuries. If it were possible they could let Joe go both because his performance and his cap number are awful. But they can't escape the contract that Joe has. Or the cap hit.

Perhaps the way forward is to draft a good college qb in 2018 and start him ahead of Joe. Maybe if Joe sits on the bench long enough he'll retire. Somehow they've got to come up with a better O/L through the draft as well. We won't be able to afford any decent free agent lineman with our cap space even supposing there is good free agent talent on the offensive line available next season.

The current offensive line is laughable. Hurst and Jensen are in over their heads. The coaching staff should have known that too because they have poor track records here. Stanley isn't elite. Howard is 'meh'.We could have had better line depth than the guys we have.

The offense is in the beginnings of a massive meltdown.

I'm not sure I can stomach another game the way they are going.

And here comes Oakland...

Big question here. Is Flacco's contract guaranteed? Please don't say yes.

Unfortunately he has about $60 million in guaranteed money and a cap hit they can't escape. If they cut him now they get killed with dead money. And I doubt there's a market for him with that albatross contract that comes with him. They are going to have to wait until 2019 at the earliest to have a year when his cap hit would finally be less than his salary.

I'll wait till the off season to get into this. Too much football to play.

I will say I'm not happy with all of them.

Excellent analysis 82. Any good news to report?

I don't know. It's going to take a lot of patience on the part of the fans who have the tickets. It can be fun watching a new team being built if the talent they're getting is obviously very good (I'm thinking of the Colts in the fifties and sixties---showing my age here). But it will take time I'm afraid. There's only 7 picks a year unless you can trade for more.

That is just it, it is not all on the players. Yes, Joe missed an easy touchdown because he dis not step into a throw and it sailed high on Perriman. He also misses a wide open runningback on a wheel route and instead, tried to force one over the middle.

He missed a wide open Maclin for a long touchdown and instead threw to the tight end for a 5 yard gain on 3rd & 7.

But he also got sacked on several 5 step drops because the receiver was not open, & the line did not give him time to go to his second option. He was not sacked by 1 player, but by 3 & 4. A total collapse of the line. He also had his arm hit on a 3 step drop, thankfully it was a completed pass for a short gain.

Wallace dropped a 35 yard pass that would have made a big difference in the game.

Receivers were mugged as soon as they got the ball because the routes were simple, easy to read for the defense and they played zone most of the 2nd half.

When they played man, none of them could get open consistantly. Maclin and Wallace have been able to get open when they were on other teams, hmm.

Injuries, just another excuse we have heard for bad play over the past 5 years.

No offense, consistantly, has been somwthing we have seen since the team did a salary dump when Art first fot here.

So they can't cut everyone, can't dump Flacco, who has had greqt games under the right coach.

Since you can't change many players, you have to start with the coach and also, because Ozzie has never been able to draft or develop offensive players, sans JO and Big Ed, it is clear the front office has to be changed as well.

Maybe then, Joe, the line, the receivers will flourish to some extent.

I have been saying everyone needs to go. Blood needs to run in the streets of OM. On offense the whole thing needs to be rebuilt. Yes draft Joe's replacement. There are lots of good Qbs next April. What a new coach should tell the new kid is don't do what Joe does since they can't get out of his deal until after 2018. Looking at the 2019 FA for the team I think they need to seriously consider trading Mosley. They need picks and lots of them. CJ is the only piece of value that comes up in 2019. 2020 does not have any pieces that have value but there are a ton of FA that yr. If they start cleaning the cap by 2020 they should have a real good handle on it.
