The draft is always a crap shoot. I don't believe any of the mock drafts. Teams spread so much fog leading up to it you need a bs detector.

 

I would like to see Ravens get Anthony Brown but there's a ton of good WRs around. I would be happy if they drafted an offfensive lineman. While I know we need a replacement for both Zadarius Smith and Suggs, I think we've got an outstanding secondary and a few good potential young linebackers on the team.

 

Preferably they go O-line, WR, or Edge Rusher. Those are my top 3 priorities,

 

But what the hell do I know??

This guy will work perfectly with Lamar and Lamar's style.

Well sounds like it could work but I'm concerned how is he going to make out at 166 lbs in the NFL?

 

I feel similarly about Lamar.

Size is a concern.......

 

 

Concerns over size: The most popular knock on Brown is his thin frame. He’s 50foot-10 and doesn’t see himself getting any bigger than 175 pounds. That could be a problem on contested catches against sizable cornerbacks. It also goes against the thought that the Ravens would bring in bigger receivers who have a large catch radius for Jackson. Durability is a concern. Brown isn’t expected to be cleared from a Lisfranc surgery until training camp in July. He suffered the foot injury on Dec. 1 in the Big 12 championship game before he played through it in the Orange Bowl.

I love this kid. I think he's an explosive player. Yes, he's small at 170 pounds, but this guy can fly. If you're gonna make Lamar Jackson a better quarterback, you need good players around him to make him better and this kid will help. Draft pick: Oklahoma WR Marquise Brown (No. 25 overall)

Day 1 grade: A

Draft analysis: Multiple NFL general managers told me they would have a hard time picking Brown, a 166-pound receiver, in the first round. Sure, he lacks size, but his talent reminds me of DeSean Jackson, who was also under 170 pounds at the NFL Scouting Combine when he came out. If Brown has that sort of career, the Ravens will have done well. It is a good pick. I would have taken Sweat. I guess the heart thing scared them off. I think he will be a transendent rusher.
