Not sure what he has left in the tank, but maybe he can add depth to the D line.

Domata Peko, who played for the Cincinnati Bengals for the first 11 seasons of his National Football League career, is signing a deal with the AFC North rival Baltimore Ravens that will pay him $1 million for the rest of the season, according to a report via Twitter from NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

The #Ravens are signing veteran nose tackle Domata Peko to a deal that will pay him $1 million for the rest of the season, source said. Big money for the big man as Baltimore stocks up for a playoff push.

The Baltimore Ravens on Tuesday plan to finalize a slew of personnel moves that will reshape the bottom of the roster, according to reports.

Riding a five-game winning streak, the Ravens intend to waive cornerback Cyrus Jones and defensive end Ufomba Kamalu, the NFL Network and The Athletic reported. Baltimore will also move defensive tackle Daylon Mack (hip/knee) to injured reserve, per NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.

To fill the open space on the roster, the Ravens will sign defensive tackles Justin Ellis and Domata Peko, according to reports. And they plan to activate rookie cornerback Iman Marshal off injured reserve, a move to which coach John Harbaugh alluded Monday.

Jones, a Baltimore native, spent parts of the past two seasons as the Ravens’ punt returner before a fumble during a Nov. 3 win over the Patriots put his job in jeopardy. Baltimore signed De’Anthony Thomas last week to replace Jones in that role.

Kamalu was inactive for two games after the Ravens signed him of the Patriots’ practice squad and never suited up for the team. Mack, a fifth-round rookie, appeared in just one game this season.

Ellis spent the last five seasons with the Raiders. He had 119 tackles in 66 games for Oakland.

Depth and rotation. They must have a run stopper for additional depth.

They signed Ellis. He's good against the run.

I'm hoping this is for depth and not that Pierce is out long term

My guess is both reasons. High ankle sprain for a big guy takes longer than a qb for Bama to heal...

Peko huh ?  Isn't he the big dude with hair down to his butt ?  If so, the dude takes up space and can stuff the run.  Hopefully, he corrals and takes down RB Carlos Hyde this weekend.
