varaven45 Posted November 26, 2019 Posted November 26, 2019 Wow, what another outstanding signature performance; maybe our best yet ! This team has become quite the offensive juggernaut that is playing with so much energy and passion. Its a lot of dang fun to watch ! As someone noted earlier, I'd like to see Lamar take a tad fewer hits and stay out of harms way. Otherwise, its a blast to watch ! What I'm beginning to notice is team character, chemistry and a sense of purpose - similar to the 2000 team. Not the same dominant D but an opportunistic, high flying and swarming bunch that is improving by the week. Sunday's test against San Fran sets up as yet another classic matchup. Cant wait for another slobberknocker ! Quote
vmax Posted November 26, 2019 Posted November 26, 2019 I don't know. It's getting a little boring watching the Ravens take knees at the end of their games in the shadows of the goal posts. They're leaving points on the field! Quote
tsylvester Posted November 26, 2019 Posted November 26, 2019 This team will face the best front four in the league. Okay, it's a test for the offense. Their secondary is very good as well.... So were the Rams, the SeaHawks, the Pats and even the Texans... This offense is prepared. The SanFran offense is pedestrian, simple, their qb is good inside the pocket at moving, but he is prone to picks, fumbles, incompletions under pressure. The Ravens defense is great at putting on pressure, ask Brady, Watson, Wilson, and now Goff.... The secondary is healthy, full, working well together. If not for this incredible 7 game winning streak, I would say this will be another slobber knocker, 8 is hard to win in a row in this league. But then, this team is clearly on an unexpected journey.... Quote
varaven45 Posted November 26, 2019 Author Posted November 26, 2019 Nicely put Tsy. I'm thinking another slobberknocker and a lower scoring game. Agreed we need to put mucho heat on Jimmy G. Lamar's going to get some heat too. He'll need to take extra care of the rock. Should be a wing ding doodler doo ! Quote
vmax Posted November 26, 2019 Posted November 26, 2019 Early odds... Quote 9ers (10-1) at Ravens (8-2) Opening line: Ravens, -4.5 The Ravens have been mostly unstoppable this year, but if they do have one weakness, it seems to be playing NFC teams at home. In their past eight home games against NFC teams, the Ravens have gone 1-7 ATS (4-4 straight-up). The good news for the Ravens though is that the 49ers are arguably worse when it comes to playing AFC teams on the road. Since the beginning of the 2014 season, the 49ers have gone 2-9 straight-up in road games against the opposite conference, and one of those wins came against the currently 0-11 Bengals this year, so it's hard to give them much credit for that. One other thing to note is that the 49ers haven't won a game in the eastern time zone against a team with a winning record since 2012. Quote
tsylvester Posted November 26, 2019 Posted November 26, 2019 & a 1 pm start time, tough for a West Coast team not named Seattle... Quote
cravnravn Posted November 26, 2019 Posted November 26, 2019 Pretty Please. Flex this game. I must work Sunday.. One from last night. Judon is playing as a man possessed. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 I am shocked it had not been made a game of the week. Quote
