oldno82 Posted February 13, 2020 Posted February 13, 2020 OK, guys, discuss. How much should the Ravens limits be on Judon, Jimmy Smith, and Ronnie Stanley be? Free agency is only a few weeks away.
papasmurfbell Posted February 13, 2020 Posted February 13, 2020 Judon-4 yrs 48 mil a SB of 15mil Jimmy 3 yrs 30 mil a SB of 8mil Ronnie 5 yrs 80 mil a sb of 24mil
oldno82 Posted February 14, 2020 Author Posted February 14, 2020 That sounds pretty reasonable to me though I don't think Judon will sign for that. Jimmy's is enough. I won't quibble but I could see Stanley getting 5 for 90 here.
papasmurfbell Posted February 14, 2020 Posted February 14, 2020 Judan can walk or they can tag and trade him.
GrubberRaven Posted February 14, 2020 Posted February 14, 2020 Wow, you'd still give Jimmy that much?
papasmurfbell Posted February 14, 2020 Posted February 14, 2020 I would let Jimmy walk. Thinking as the Ravens do that is what I would give him. He might well make more than that on the market.
tsylvester Posted February 15, 2020 Posted February 15, 2020 With all the cuts lately, especially at corner, Smith is not going to be offered a lot of money. He is too injury prone, slower and has a tendency for penalties because he is slower. Judon is a beast at times, but he can't hold an edge and doesn't play a lot of snaps without getting worn out. Let him walk if he wants the top 5 pay for his position, this organization has shown they can find defensive linemen. Stanley is the priority, with this type of offense his talents are needed. Were this a pocket passing team, statue qb, then I would say market value at best. He doesn't hold up agaimst quicker pass rushers and gets little push in straight power runs. If some team wants to throw the bank at him, let him walk. There are a number of tackles in college coming who run this type of offense.
