cravnravn Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 You guys are lucky. Gas costs about $8.30 a gallon where I am from. REALLY????? WTF??? How do you do it, if gas was 8.30 here the unemployment would be up to 30% Quote
papasmurfbell Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 Please. A dude wants to get away from his kids and wife. Now he can feed the slots when his family is out at Jolly Roger. Wow Md really went about this the WRONG way, what does Delaware, West Virginia & Pennsylvania have that Maryland dosent have???? Del has table games and sports book. WV has some table games. I don't know if PA has gone above and beyond. Quote
cravnravn Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 No Pappa they all three have slots and gaming in a horse track where there is already gambling going on..Ocean Downs only has trotters inwhich most of those horses pull carts of fruit in the AM.. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 I am just saying that MD was leapfrogged by the states that surround it. If you were driving from bmore towards Perryville to play slot why not go a little further to del and play poker too. Hey while you are there lay a bet on the NBA. The same would apply on the shore. cravnravn Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 I live 10 miles west of Perryville, the Mrs enjoys just slots, so I take her over there, now if I want some action I'll say lets run up to Delaware, sometimes I get a yes other times shes content with staying put. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 See you are right there. If you live in bmore you might as well drive the extra 40 min to Wilmington. If you are on the shore go to Harrington. Quote
cravnravn Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 Md dropped the ball letting these states get that far ahead of them..And not having gambling at Laurel Park is a sin. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 The whole thing is a sin. The Gen Assembly decided to play politics with the finances of the state. Everyone of them that held off Erllich then voted to allow it later should be thrown out of the state. Quote
RavenMad Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 REALLY????? WTF??? How do you do it, if gas was 8.30 here the unemployment would be up to 30% Our vehicles are a lot more fuel efficient than the US. My car will do about 50 miles to the gallon combined and that is to the US gallon (approx. 3.78 litres) not the imperial gallon (approx. 4.55 litres). Our government gets 175% of the price of fuel in duty and taxes. Bastards..... Quote
