papasmurfbell Posted December 28, 2022 Posted December 28, 2022 No chance. They were not built to win either yr. Super Bowl winning coach: First he tripped over that run. The team was about to not make the playoffs. No credit. So he is as good as McCarthy or Switzer. Wow. 2019 coach of the yr: Why didnt Lamar win that? He did all the work that yr. Amazing how you choose a blurb from the team website. They would have no bias. Quote

Charger and Jags are the same team, the difference, no matter the coach, the players, the Chargers always find a way to lose games in the most unusual ways. I think this defense is looking for payback against the Jags, a game the Ravens should have won. Quote
vmax Posted December 28, 2022 Posted December 28, 2022 The Macdonald Effect: Baltimore has recorded at least one sack in 19 straight games, marking the NFL’s second-longest active streak. The Buffalo Bills are first with 20. The Ravens recorded multiple sacks in 11 consecutive games this season, marking the NFL’s longest active streak. During this 11-game streak, the Ravens have 36 total sacks. The Ravens have also allowed fewer than 14 points in seven games this season, including their past four contests. Baltimore now has three players — cornerbacks Marlon Humphrey and Marcus Peters and inside linebacker Patrick Queen — who have posted at least one sack, one interception one forced fumble, and one fumble return this season. No other team in 2022 has more than one player who has reached those marks. Queen has a single-season career-high five sacks in 2022. Let's see here .... did Harbaugh bring him in????? Quote
tsylvester Posted December 28, 2022 Author Posted December 28, 2022 While he has done a great job against some poor teams, you have to tip your hat. He has gotten a lot out of players, the coverages, the games at the line of scrimmage with stunts & twists, the types of blitzes, well done. We can see the improvement from him over the course of this season as he learns the tendencies of other offenses, we'll done. But how will he do against the playoff teams, better offenses, we shall see Quote
vmax Posted December 28, 2022 Posted December 28, 2022 The Falcons, Browns and Steelers, Broncos, Panthers and Saints while not being very good teams, they were playing for their playoff lives at the time. We got their best shot. The offense has to help with time of possession. Do that and they are capable of holding the power offenses to around 20-25 points. Which is about 1 score below their average. Trouble is that is Mt Everest for this offense. Quote
vmax Posted December 29, 2022 Posted December 29, 2022 @jamisonhensley Ravens' chances of winning the AFC North are at 36.4%, per ESPN's Football Power Index. Bengals' chances are at 63.6%. Ravens' AFC playoff seeding projections: No. 2: 1% No. 3: 35.5% No. 4: 0% (AFC South champ) No. 5: 29.4% No. 6: 29.4% No. 7: 4.7% Quote
papasmurfbell Posted December 29, 2022 Posted December 29, 2022 How do they get that? 36% chance to win div but the 5 and 6 seed chances are lower than the 3rd seed. Quote
cravnravn Posted December 29, 2022 Posted December 29, 2022 This is scenario I don't want, Pitt game just turned into a must win. Quote
tsylvester Posted December 30, 2022 Author Posted December 30, 2022 That would suck, 3 times in one season, best of 3 I guess it would be. I doubt the Ravens best the Bengals in two weeks, so yep, must win this game. Get all of the plays Roman has not run yet, and use them to beat the Stillers. Let Huntley get used to them so that he is fully versed in them to use them again the Bengals, and whom ever he faces in round one... Quote
