62. Ravens: CB T.J. Tampa, Iowa State

They still have us going Robinson in the first.

30) Baltimore Ravens: Johnny Newton, DT, Illinois

The Ravens can pair need with value at 30th overall. With a handful of potential free agents on the defensive line, Baltimore will need to retool in 2024.

Johnny (Jer’Zhan) Newton is an instant playmaker who has imposing explosiveness. His great athletic profile and violent play style -– combined with his intelligence, skill moves, and thunderous power -– fit exactly what the Ravens want on defense.

62) Baltimore Ravens: Ricky Pearsall, WR, Florida

The Ravens are unlikely to re-sign Odell Beckham Jr. and need an alternative option outside Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman.

Ricky Pearsall is explosive enough as a receiver, but his insane catch radius allows him to make acrobatic catches. His anticipation during routes and physicality to work through traffic will fit in well in Baltimore.

93) Baltimore Ravens: Audric Estimé, RB, Notre Dame

The Ravens need to get more reliable, consistent, and durable at running back. Audric Estimé has great vision, contact balance, and power to punch through running lanes while also having the all-around skill set to be a receiver and pass protector.

131) Baltimore Ravens
Jordan Magee, LB, Temple

134) Baltimore Ravens
Brandon Coleman, OL, TCU

164) Baltimore Ravens
Josh Proctor, S, Ohio State

226) Baltimore Ravens
Ja’Quan Sheppard, CB, Maryland

248) Baltimore Ravens
George Holani, RB, Boise State

Waiting to go OL is way to long.

30. Baltimore Ravens

Johnny Newton | DL | Illinois

It looks like Justin Madubuike is getting the franchise tag, but that shouldn't stop the Ravens from adding another disruptive interior defender if they get a chance to add one of the best in this year's class. Newton isn't the bigger defensive tackle, but he makes up for it with instincts and explosiveness that allow him to camp out in opposing backfields.

62. Baltimore Ravens

Xavier Legette | WR | South Carolina

93. Baltimore Ravens

Christian Mahogany | OL | Boston College

131. Baltimore Ravens

Ray Davis | RB | Kentucky

Newton sounds a lot like John Randle.  I would take that contribution.

30. Baltimore Ravens (13-4)

  • Jordan Morgan, OT, Arizona (6-5, 325 pounds)

The Ravens need to think about replacing fading Ronnie Stanley soon, as his contract has a near-future out. Morgan, like Tyler Guyton, should continue to impress with his athleticism during workouts that show he can maximize impact for his size.

62. Baltimore Ravens

  • Jermaine Burton, WR, Alabama (6-0, 194 pounds)

The Ravens brought back Nelson Agholor, but Odell Beckham Jr. is a free agent and Rashod Bateman was used little in the new offense. With Zay Flowers providing a dynamic answer outside, they need to address the slot. Burton is ideal to help Todd Monken's inside passing game with his hands, speed, and quickness.

I would be thrilled with Newton at 30, or even early in the 2nd if they can trade down abfew spots.

Morgan, a bit high for him, he is a project but has the potential to be a solid starting tackle, on the right side, not sure he is a left tackle in the NFL.

Burton I would be very disappointed if he were a Raven. Talk about a moody player, he has almost all of the tools, he is only missing humility. If he doesn't get the ball when he is open, he pouts and disappears.

Pearsall is an interesting one, I think he will be more of a slot guy, the Ravens really need a deep X guy, someone who will clear the middle on deep crosses, or command a safety over the top.

There are a number of guys this year who qualify for that, a trade up in the 2nd could land one.

I would like to see us grab Joe Milton on day 3.  Let him sit a couple yrs and see what he can turn into.

I could see us doing that too.

Baltimore traded away right tackle Morgan Moses and are left with Daniel Faalele. The Ravens may feel comfortable with him based on what they have seen in practice but it would also not be a surprise if the team used its first-round selection on Tyler Guyton just as they did eight years earlier with Ronnie Stanley.

30. Baltimore Ravens - Xavier Worthy, WR, Texas

The Ravens added running back Derrick Henry in free agency, so they go with a wide receiver late in the first round again. Worthy broke the Combine 40-yard dash record and looks to bring that speed to Lamar Jackson.

Baltimore Ravens: Tallies Fuaga, OT, Oregon State

The Ravens could stand to bolster their guards. Lamar Jackson was the MVP when he had Marshal Yanda blocking for him.

Tallies Fuaga may have to move to guard in the NFL.

Baltimore Ravens: Ja'Lynn Polk, WR, Washington

The Ravens could use another receiver with Odell Beckham Jr. being a short-term option.

Ja’Lynn Polk has a nice blend of size, speed, and route-running ability.

Baltimore Ravens: Ro Torrence, CB, Arizona State

The Ravens have some weaknesses in the secondary that must be addressed.

Ensign Ro Torrence is a big cornerback, but comes with some speed question marks.

Baltimore Ravens: Javion Cohen, G, Miami Image for MIA

The Ravens have some talented interior offensive linemen hitting free agency this March.

Javion Cohen is a strong interior lineman with plenty of power.

30. Baltimore Ravens (Dave): OT Tyler Guyton, Oklahoma

The Ravens rarely worry about need, positional value or any of the other talking points — they just draft the best player available. Guyton fits the bill in this spot. Plenty of draft analysts think he needs time to develop, and he'll have that in Baltimore. Ronnie Stanley and Morgan Moses are still the Ravens' likely starters for 2024, but Guyton would be a valuable swing tackle with an eye on starting in short order. He's also a heck of an insurance policy should one of the veterans get hurt — which was a consistent issue in 2023.

PICK 30: BALTIMORE RAVENS: WR TROY FRANKLIN, OREGON

Baltimore wasn’t particularly efficient throwing the deep ball last season. Troy Franklin posted a 99.1 deep receiving grade in 2023 and averaged 3.32 yards per route run, the sixth-best mark in the FBS. The Ravens need to continue to add weapons around Lamar Jackson, and Franklin’s frame and long speed are a good match.

30. Baltimore Ravens

Ladd McConkey, WR, Georgia

Despite going receiver in the first round last year, the Ravens are still lacking in wideout talent. Zay Flowers stepped onto the scene as an immediate play-maker but the team let Odell Beckham go and Rashod Bateman’s career appears to be on the ropes. McConkey is gifted route-runner and proved he’s an elite athlete on top of that at the combine.

Jeremiah's latest mock has the Ravens taking Cooper DeSean, corner/safety out of Iowa.

6'-1, 210 pounds. Good height and size, timed a bit slow, 4.5, but he does seem to play faster than he times. Very good instincts, which allows him to play free, faster.

Excellent return man as well.

He could seemingly back up corner and safety, and be a return guy, not a bad pick at 30 if they go that route.
