tsylvester Posted January 12 Author Posted January 12 Same old Chargers, no matter the owner, the coach, the City, the qb, they find ways to lose Quote
papasmurfbell Posted January 12 Posted January 12 Still early on the chargers. They came into the season cap crunched and lacking talent. All that and made the playoffs. They get a rb another wr and a couple more defenders and they will have something. Quote
tsylvester Posted January 12 Author Posted January 12 Wow, what a drive! Ravens lead the league, by a large margin, in 90+ yard touchdown drives and continue to do so Touchdown Ravens! 7-0 Quote
tsylvester Posted January 12 Author Posted January 12 Yes, I will be going to bed, and watch the rest of the game in the am! Takes a lot of sleep to make me beautiful Quote
papasmurfbell Posted January 12 Posted January 12 I sit Russ now. He can’t keep a drive going. If you keep running out these short possessions the 2nd half will be a rampage. Quote
tsylvester Posted January 12 Author Posted January 12 13 plays, 85 yards! Touchdown Ravens! 14-0 The Steelers defense looks gassed! Quote
tsylvester Posted January 12 Author Posted January 12 Another 90 yard drive end in a Touchdown Ravens! 21-0 at the half Quote
oldno82 Posted January 12 Posted January 12 Well, well, well, the Ravens dominate Pitts whose defense was overwhelmed in the first half of a playoff game. That's 5 straight losses for Tomlin's team at the end of the season. Their off-season should be quite interesting. Meanwhile, the Ravens chug along. Henry running like he's 23 years old and Lamar doing all the rest. We did miss Flowers though. I'm rooting for the Broncos tomorrow and another home playoff game here. Quote
tsylvester Posted January 12 Author Posted January 12 Total and complete domination, 1 yard shy of 300 yards rushing, 39 and 1/2 minutes of game time, what?! Sure, out scored 14-7 in the 2nd half, what did you think it would be easy to shut them out? That is okay when you have a 21 pt lead. 1 down Quote
tsylvester Posted January 12 Author Posted January 12 What used to happen against Pit. In the 2nd game, those three fumbles would have been recovered by Pit, and we lose. In this game, the muff punt in the 1st near the goal line would have been recovered and returned by Pit. The last 2 mins of the half, Hill would have fallen when he tripped going in for the score, fallen down and be touched, time would have run out. Or after Likely makes that nice catch, as his arm is flailing, with the ball in 1 hand, the defender would have knocked it out. Pit would have recovered and gone down to score before half. Not Any More Agent 0 "Those guys [are] leading the way, so we're just getting started," Ravens middle linebacker Roquan Smith said. "This is the appetizer to what we have on the menu." Quote
papasmurfbell Posted Sunday at 01:38 PM Posted Sunday at 01:38 PM Russ should have been benched after it was 7-0 and we sent the ball back. Russ had 2 drives to show he had something. Please hold the talk of the what 3 chunk plays and scoring 14. This game was done when we got to 21. There was not enough time with the way their offense runs to tie it up. you are very correct about their moves up there. Tomlinson must be kicking himself for inking an extension. What he could do in Chicago. They have everything there to win in 25 and you have the 10 pick. They could win the division with some direction. The pats are another good landing spot. Good d and a qb probably. Get some targets and ol. You have the 4 pick. i don’t like where Pitt is sitting if im the Ronny’s. If you do trade Tomlin you still have an idiot gm picking with the windfall. Quote
tsylvester Posted Sunday at 04:26 PM Author Posted Sunday at 04:26 PM Yep, they got them selves into quite a pickle at the qb position, neither played exceptionally well nor are under contract. And with only Pickens as a threat they are easy to defend. With Hayward getting agent, their Run defense is a sieves, Quote
tsylvester Posted Sunday at 06:09 PM Author Posted Sunday at 06:09 PM Denver just hit deep, Bills defense decimated with injuries, this game should be a shoot out even with Denver's good d Quote
papasmurfbell Posted Sunday at 06:35 PM Posted Sunday at 06:35 PM But that bills run game is great. Picking up 7 yds after contact was nice to see. Quote
tsylvester Posted Sunday at 07:09 PM Author Posted Sunday at 07:09 PM Denver front 7 is small, easy to run on of you stick to it and run at them. Denver d is built for pass defense Quote
papasmurfbell Posted Sunday at 07:27 PM Posted Sunday at 07:27 PM So why pass when you can push a scrum 7 yds? Quote
tsylvester Posted Sunday at 08:02 PM Author Posted Sunday at 08:02 PM What gets me is when their linemen PULL from in front, that is illegal and should be called. What a catch, how did he keep his feet from touching the end line? Quote
papasmurfbell Posted Monday at 12:44 AM Posted Monday at 12:44 AM New body bag game given by the eagles. Quote
GrubberRaven Posted Monday at 02:15 PM Posted Monday at 02:15 PM Until the Commanders/Bucs game...they were all duds. Felt bad for Mayfield. Want that guy to win, but my son loves the Commanders and he's very excited. Quote
