oldno82 Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago So what are we looking for tonight with picks 2 and 3? Quote
tsylvester Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago If Kaydwn McDaniel, big phatty, is there in the 2nd, I hope they grab him. Cashius Howard, edge, is another good 2nd round pick In the 3rd, I think it no secret I want them to get Serratt, or Bernard, for the tough big body wide out with great hands and run after the catch Quote
papasmurfbell Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Or,c,dt, or edge. Who I don’t know. I didn’t study at all, this yr. Quote

I think that's too high this year because of other higher priority needs. Papa's right too...somewhere we have to draft a Center...if not today then when? Might be a good opportunity to package some of our Day 3 picks to get an extra pick in the 3rd round. Of course, that requires a willing dance partner. Quote
tsylvester Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Most have the Ravens taking McCoy, Tennessee corner. Likely the best corner in the draft, not just the best left. However, he blew his knee out, which has teams worried about his future, yeah, Max Crosby type worry. Safety is not needed, Ravens have plenty and they can always find one later or even undrafted to groom. Center is an option, but, none of them is starter material, maybe a year or two away if at all. So why chose one in either rounds 2 or 3? Defensive tackle yes, edge, maybe even middle backer, but definitely wide receiver, there are several who are good enough to start in these next 2 rounds Quote
oldno82 Posted 6 hours ago Author Posted 6 hours ago I dunno...Young's an edge setter more than a pass rusher, though we do have Green and Hendrickson for that. So does Young spell either end during running packages? And Lane...nice highlight film but consensus says he was a stretch for round 3. Sarrrat was still available when he was picked. Quote
tsylvester Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Wow, big body, decent speed, great hands, but he struggles with press man. Quite a reach it seems. Young is Brent Urban part 2, with a little more upside. Very good against the run, something this team has lacked on the edge for some time. Yes, a rotational guy who I am sure Minter will move around the line. Quote
