papasmurfbell Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 This is about Chris Johnson but there was something else they said. Eight of the top 10 RB's have been shorter than 6 foot.
vmax Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Remember the one they had on Ray Lewis running through a locked door?
52isUnstoppable Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 had they done that this season it would go down differently. "As you can see Johnson is terribly slow as he tries to drag a large amount of cash behind him on the field. This cash of course being from the deal he just signed in the offseason."
papasmurfbell Posted November 21, 2011 Author Posted November 21, 2011 HAHA Again why I would not sign RR. I would tag and trade.
cravnravn Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 No way papa, RR is multi talented, its too bad Bud Adams shelled all that cash out for CJ, but we've been thru this before with Suggs, the Colts opened the door years ago by giving Freeney mad money.
papasmurfbell Posted November 22, 2011 Author Posted November 22, 2011 RB's are a dime a dozen. For the most part giving them long term deals blows up in your face.
Dunno Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Hopefully the team learned some lessons with the McGahee contract. RB's is one of those positions where paying a ton of money up front rarely, if ever, works out in the teams favor. I am not opposed to paying a performing RB money, just not of the type that can tie up large chunks of the cap space even if, or rather when, their performance no longer matches their salary cap number.
papasmurfbell Posted November 22, 2011 Author Posted November 22, 2011 Then yuo just let someone else give them the money and get their picks.
