In a story about the Denver Broncos and their camp problems there was a one liner that I appreciated:

 

The starting left tackle (Jared Gaither) who received big money in the offseason hasn't been seen.

 

I remember being pretty upset that we lost him however once again this was a case where the front office and coaching staff just made the right decision.

 

For all the guys talent, he just doesn't have the ambition or the luck to stay on the field. Judging by his college days and what transpired here I would say it's his ambition that is lacking.

Glad we dumped Gaither but we stil havent adequately filled the LT void. The revolving door between McKinney, Oher et al, is a bit disconcerting.

With no reliable QB backup currently on the roster, we need bonafide play at the LT position. Imagine if Flacco ever gets dinged up and Tyrod Taylor or Painter has to lead the team. Just saying.....

I don't even want to envision that scenario. That would be so disheartening. I agree that the LT is a concern, but I think McKinnie will fill the hole just fine. My bet is that Oher will be our LT beginning next season and we'll be looking to fill the RT spot next season.

I hope Ozzie scans the waiver wire for a more legit backup than Taylor and Painter.

And we would do ourselves a favor by picking up a legitimate backup QB if any are available. I'm not happy with Tyrod or Curtis at this point.

It was obvious he was only in it for the money. JO gave up on him. Zues wanted to kill him for being lazy. His agent went off on him in public outside teh bank. That is why I wanted to trae him before everyone else knew he was a loser.

You're right about that. I even remember some of the articles at the time saying he wasn't particularly fond of football.
