vmax Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 No way. That's just wishfull speculation like the Browns getting Ozzie, Cower, Gruden, ...they want for have a big splash but all they could come up with is a Chud. Norv is too smart for that. Quote
JPPT1974 Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 That is a huge "demotion" like thing for Norv after seven years consectively as a HC for the Chargers or over! Quote
papasmurfbell Posted January 12, 2013 Author Posted January 12, 2013 HC go to coordinator status all the time. Quote
vmax Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 He's not going to the Browns...Ravens maybe....but he's not going to work under a former assistant and that screwed up franchise. Quote

vmax Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Depends on who you read.... Browns' hiring of Lombardi makes no sensehttp://espn.go.com/blog/afcnorth/post/_/id/63916/browns-hiring-lombardi-makes-no-sense Quote
Dunno Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 The coaching staff looks solid on paper, but the FO looks like a disaster... Quote
papasmurfbell Posted January 19, 2013 Author Posted January 19, 2013 Lombardi can't be worse than what they had. Quote
thundercleetz Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 Rumors going around that Lombardi is going to go hard after Pats QB Ryan Mallett. Lombardi loved Mallett coming out of Arkansas in 2011, he had him rated as the top QB of that class. The strong-armed QB could be a good fit for their offense with big guys in Gordon and Little who can also get deep, a solid offensive line and a stud running back. The Browns are actually putting together some good pieces. Quote
