He's probably worth it if he could just be a little more consistent. So what does everybody think? Are we going to franchise Joe for the next year or will they be able to work out a contract by March (I think)? They have a pretty good record of signing their own. I hope they get it done. The tag is hated by players and ties our hands in so far as salary cap space is concerned. Quote

I am feeling really good about him right now but even if I wasn't I'd admit hes earned a deal. Look at what hes accomplished his time in the league. Its impressive. Quote

He saw the Pats game planned toward stopping the run out of base formations so he went to the gun and put the Pats on their heels. Also credit to Hostler. Now that Cam's out this is not a one man band coming up with the gameplan. Caldwell, Joe, Harbaugh, Hostler, even Boldin probably had some input on the gameplan or in game adjustments. Quote
