I don't understand why they are trying to expand to London. It doesn't make sense logistically. If you are going to expand, do it in Vancouver, Montreal, or Toronto like the NBA and MLB. At least that wouldn't be a travel nightmare and they at least have the CFL over there.

That's a good article. His talent and skill were enough get him more opportunities in the NFL even after he kept squandering them with his behavior and pettiness. We all know Buffalo was the only team interested in him this past offseason even though he and his agent denied it. Buffalo is the last NFL city that someone with that type of love for media attention is going to go to. He must be miserable over there, but hey - it's all his fault.

One would think that if dilution of talent due to expansion is part of the reason, then it would affect quality of the offensive players as well. It has to be the rule changes. The only significant one last year was the Brady rule, but there have been so many in recent years they are probably just now starting to show effect. Ultimately they are going to have to take a hard look at some of these rules that have made it so hard to play good defense. Maybe I'm biased as a Ravens fan, but I still prefer a league with a more than one or two good defenses. Take a look around the league and there aren't many left. Denver and San Fran i guess.

At the time you had to buy at least 10 so the friend of mine who isn't me got in on it with a few co-workers. All but he Polamalu were flawless - You cannot tell them from a real authentic jersey. On the Polamalu, the rectangle nameplate extended onto the shoulders which looked a little odd, but still not odd enough to sweat it when the friend of mine who isn't me only paid $25 for em.

I thought Ozzie missed a big opportunity this past offseason by not trading for Lito Sheppard. He's a former first rounder and the Jets got him for a 09 5th and a conditional pick in this years draft. Granted Sheppard is currently injured, so the jury is still out on the trade, but I think the Ravens will regret not making a move for him when all is said and done this year.

Pressure is part of it, but Starks and Baxter played across from McAlister which allowed us to roll covereage towards their guy and trust that McAlister could do a good enough job on his guy with no help. Now if you're trying to decide which corner needs help, the answer is both!

What a douche bag. I don't think he was dominant in either half. He got pressure a couple times in the first half and had that sack on a play where no-one even tried to block him - big deal.

All this Bowe talk stemmed from an Alan Schefter article talking about trades that should but won't happen. I can't find the link now, but the point is it was completely based on schefter's opinion and there is no fact behind it.

Well I'm watching the morning news here in Pitt and I'm seeing that Jeff Reed just got cited for public intoxication and disorderly conduct. Maybe they'll cut him : ) I hated to see Stover go, but I was on board with Harbaugh's decision to move on. Stover's range was getting worse and worse and we needed to get another kicker. I just wished we would have picked up an experienced kicker or at least evaluated Hashucka a little better. Like Dapetes said, we are going to have to run him out there a lot more times before we can get an idea of how he handles pressure (so far not well!)

Walker played like crap regardless, but to be fair Harbaugh said Walker was supposed to have safety help on that 58 yard bomb that set up what proved to be the Vikes game winning FG. Apparently said safety bit on the run fake (which is interesting because Favre held the ball a good 6 seconds on that play). He didn't say which safety it was.

I saw Webb in there on D towards the end of the game. He was blitzing, and I'm not sure if he got any playing time in coverage, but the fact that they benched washington and have started using webb means at least they aren't delusional about it anymore. I could've screamed when I read Harbaugh's "I think our coverage has been good" comment last week.

Yea a lot of Ravens fans are clamoring for Cmac but if he was still any good he'd have a job right now. I will say his coverage sucked last year but he was always solid in run D - we could use that right now!

That was Walker drapped all over Rice at the end of the game Cravn. Granted, the only reason Walker was covering Rice is because they benched Washington after Rice beat him like a rented mule all day.

Frank cannot cover without drawing a flag. Saw Webb and Walker out there a lot. I guess Carr is losing snaps (rightfully so, he's even more of a bum)
